Is it true he was at the match today?

Very encouraging if true unless the performance has scared him off!!

Surely someone would have got a picture if he was there? It seems unlikely to me. I saw picture of Lee Clark(who can fuck right off, and when he’s fucked off he can again and further to that can fuck off) for example. The fact it’s not been reported anywhere leads me to believe it’s not true.

Yeah he can have Sunderland for free as well as long as you take on th small debt. When I say small I mean the £137.3 million of debt an absolute steal for a club likely to be playing in League One next season.

They had nearly 20,000 empty seemingly now pink seats for the Wear/Tees derby on Saturday as well.

I don’t think anyone would touch them with a barge pole right now I think they are in as much trouble as us, more considering the huge amounts debt and another relegation looking nailed on.

It is a steal for a club, who if run properly , have massive potential, 45000 crowds and top 8 Premier side every season. I know its not going to happen though.

A steal? They are screwed. Newcastle can’t find a buyer and they are a club with better crowds, more potential and have a place in the Premier League. Sunderland have never been further fron the top 8 of the top flight, you have Championship clubs like Wolves, Boro and Villa spending absolute fortunes to get back to the top table. It’s going to get harder and harder with clubs dropping out of the top flight getting richer by the year. Sunderland have enormous debts and are in serious danger of dropping to the third tier which will only make the financial situation worse. I can see a Portsmouth situation, not potential.

Sunderland's fan base and potential has been undone time after time over the years by some absolutely abysmal transfer dealings, going right back to Alan Brown's second spell in charge in the early 70s.

It will be a long road back for them - but at least they have a road back!
