I used to take the piss out of Loughlin as he more often than not rated Pools players higher than the opposition, even when they lost. At least it appears he's become more realistic in his appraisal these days,

Do they manage to let the boxes these days? if so they must be offering knockdown discounts. Also HTF did Oates merit a 6 - he may not have reached the same heady heights of incompetence as Laing, Harrison and Adams but surely form marks aren't awarded for running aimlessly up and down the line like Scooby Doo - and closer to the crowd than the linesman?

wasn,t at the match saturday. was there a man of the match. preston were reportedly poor on saturday and they didn,t announce one there.
