I'm only going out of curiosity, so the scores irrelevant.
Unless of course something more important like a film on non ferrous welding in Mongolia is on the box.

2-3 loss.
4479 with 112 from Woking. Crowd this high because of the feeling that this might be Pools last home game...

This drawn out death on the pitch is adding to the pain and slowly but surely adding to the catastrophic legacy the club is going to be lumbered with.
I have no faith in the team and players and I despaired of the manager a long time ago.
When I brought up going on Saturday, for the first time it was a case of what's the point and to be honest there's a detached emptiness inside me at matches, almost finding it hard to accept this confused, listless, soulless rabble are my team.
We're waiting for the hammer to fall and this drawn out, teasing is killing even a Phoenix club's future prospects.
Can we just get it over with, please.

Woking 12/5 to win on my Australian sportsbet betting site. Pools Evens. Having seen us play only once on TV this season (Maidenhead) and with our current plight, that’s like buying money isn’t it?

Numerous forced changes result in a spirited 1-0 win.

I can, but dream.

Woking have the second worst away record in the league so I think we might only lose 0-2. A win would be nice to give us poor bastards a little light relief!

Can't really see us getting anything out off this game, Unfortunaltyl I'll be there again to witness another loss and another piss poor tactical performance and Harrison probably laughing all the way down the tunnel when the game has finished after been given a 3 year contract off the club.

Pools 0 Woking 2

2879 (179) from Woking.

The score is an utter irrelevance. A win would be the icing on the headstone.

I know it makes little difference in the grand scheme of things, but I'm really pleased for Rodders - when I've seen him play this season he's always looked like there's a player in there just needing a bit of confidence. And cor blimey, we might even win a game.... in best Danny Baker tradition, "Nothing can go wrong now" - at least on the pitch today....

Half-time - and Pools have a handsome lead.

And BBC Tees dropping hints that a buyer is about to make an offer.

Who would've thunk it, eh..?

3-2 Welldone lads, now let's try for a 10+ point lead over the 21st league placed team.

Did really well in spells but highlights how woeful Harrison is as a manager.

You could call that last 20 minutes happening and he just stands and watches. Had Hawkins ready for about 10 minutes before bringing him on and also had players who have had long injury spells recently who were flagging.

They were a very very poor side but yet again we let a comfortable lead turn into a slightly nerve wracking albeit final minute or so

Only Pools could be 3 up with mins left and nearly blow it.

Would have took the result at the start though, particularly when I saw the back 4. Ironically I thought Harrison was awful first half when we kept a clean sheet but a bit more solid in the second half when we conceded two.

I thought we were a bit more like when we had our unbeaten run. Yes we arnt a great side but if you work hard and take your chances then it’s a good platform, although saying that I still think Rodders could have had at least a hat-trick/

Same again the next two games will hopefully give us a cushion which may reduce the impact if we went into admin.

Hawkins was sat in the dugout for around 15 - 20 minutes with his training top off ready to come on. I think he did a jog along the touch line shortly after half time then sat in the dugout in the cold until he finally came on. How harrison has complained about injuries repeatedly yet his subs do not seem to get warmed up or stretched before coming on. He should make sure they are ready.

Yesterday , first half particularly ,was a glimpse of what most home games should of looked like this season, opposition having most of possession, peppering our goal, without really causing many problems, then three quality strikes from us, put game to bed before half time. We could of went for an even bigger win margin in the second half , but as we have come to expect from Harrison , he went safety first, shame about those two late Woking goals, that left a bitter taste in the mouth. The second half seemed to pass a lot of the fans by, you could sense the relief on the terraces, that we were on course to win our first game in what seemed like years. Many fans just seemed to want the game to end there and then and get to the pub and celebrate, I know I did. Rodneys goal was quality, with shades of Doncaster written all over it. Rodney seems to revel in situations were he has to make a split second decision, but give him time to think on the ball , and it rarely ends well.

All credit to Harrison, who yesterday may of finally got his tactics and formation correct, with players playing in their preferred and best positions. He also seems to have the backing of the players, which is some feat I suppose in the current circumstances. Thought the inclusion of George worked very well defensively. His aggression against a weaker opponents shored things up at the back. Did Harrison or his coaching staff foresee this? I would like to think so, but maybe it was just pot luck. Woking in many ways reminded me of us this season, trying to play football the right way, but not doing it very well, and weak physically. They were the ideal opponents for us today. Whilst Halifax and Barrow may be worse than Woking, they will probably be more difficult to break down, particularly away from home. It would be great if this result was the catalyst for a strong finish to the season.

I enjoyed the game, the drinks before and after the game, the atmosphere which appeared a lot better than of late. Obviously taking an early lead helped.

Yesterday proved to me, that when it goes well, a day out at the match is still one of the best forms of entertainment.

PS. I hope Snowy managed to get himself along

Good summary Horden. I agree in that George had a solid game, but would be nervous playing him there against other teams if they have a lacy winger
