This has been in place since November and is due to missing vital paperwork according to the fail. So predates announcement of financial problems. Could it be anything to do with conflict of interest with Watson, head of recruitment and agents Full 90?

You should have posted this Sat Feb 03, 2018 8:31 am.

I believe you may just be about the slowest double poster ever!

Is this why the Messi transfer was blocked?

head of recruitment is on to it...has been for the past 3 months....im sure he'll eventually get to the bottom of why the club has been banned by the league from recruiting players ....just a paperwork problem...yeah right

How come the national league didn't announce this at the time, surely us paying fans would have been interested in the reasons behind this decision.

From memory, there's a good few reasons why the NL can impose an embargo - and it's partly to try and keep clubs on the straight and narrow. The fact that a Winding Up Petition from HMRC has been issued suggests that the embargo could be that we've failed to show that we are keeping up with PAYE - I'm fairly sure that's one of their rules. So the "paperwork issue" could be (and on current evidence this seems likely) that we haven't submitted proof that PAYE has been paid, because it hasn't been paid.....
