This has been in place since November and is due to missing vital paperwork according to the fail. So predates announcement of financial problems. Could it be anything to do with conflict of interest with Watson, head of recruitment and agents Full 90?

What’s the action from the fans against the owners then? We should show potential new owners how United we are by doing something together. It doesn’t have to cause chew. What about one of them parliamentary petitions? See how many signatures we could get to get a question asked in parliament as to why the club have not been investigated by the law or the football authorities. I’d sign that and so would fans around the country. Have the trust got a legal bid who can ask the question in the right way so that it qualifies?

It,s just another example of how these incompitents in charge have put OUR clubs life in intensive care.

If you can have a candlelight vigil for a dog, how about one for Pools, outside the club and see how many turn up. Or a vigil outside the club pre match, if we ever have one.

It is, it also highlights the extent that we’ve been kept in the dark and deceived. It’s absolutely disgusting the likes of Duxbury should be hounded out of Town never to be seen again. I have no doubt in my mind that the timing of all of this is cold and calculated.

Let’s all just bump our guns then and go on about sit ins and tennis balls which won’t help the team.

A political campaign wouldn't go amiss. It won't work quickly enough to save the club but political pressure could ensure we are treated at least fairly by the FA when things go tits up. It could also put pressure on current owners to get out asap. The more people that are poking around their activities the more nervous they will be.

I said in a previous thread we need our MP to get active. Both he and the Trust need to be writing letters to the FA/FL/Vanarama League asking some fundamental questions over their governance of owners and agents (if the Trust haven't done it already). In addition the MP could table a series of Parliamentary Questions to the Sec of State for Culture, Media and Sports. These should be generic questions that would be of interest to all MPs with football interests. Oral questions to the Sec of State would also allow the MP to speak on the matter in the chamber.

In 2016 the Select Committee on Culture, Media and Sports conducted a short investigation into Football governance. They might also be motivated to make further investigations. I note that the Sunderland Central MP, Julie Ellliott, is a member of said Select Committee. Our MP needs to talk to her to see what can be done. Early Day Motions where MPs sign up to a motion are pretty useless in my opinion as they are totally ignored and require no response.

The beauty of political lobbying this way is it can be effective and is very cheap. I have been involved in this in the past and if anyone from the Trust wants to contact me I'd be happy to help.
