Post subject: The Youth Of Today!!!!
PostPosted: Thu Feb 01, 2018 4:47 pm
Our lass and her Mam were walking along Jesmond Gardens just after 8pm on Tuesday night after been to the Hospital for an appointment.
Just as they got to Jesmond Road school her Mam tripped on a road sign frame that was laying flat on the pavement.
Four 16/17 year old lads came to their aid....helping her up, phoning a taxi to go back to hospital and one even ran to the shop and bought her a bottle of water!!!!
They got the name and number off one of them in case they need to be witnesses etc.
The Youth of today get a lot of bad press but these 4 are brilliant in my eyes....Thanks lads!!!! :-D
Long story short....she has badly fractured her wrist and upto now has been to North Tees 3 times and Hartlepool twice and is currently back there now....then back to North Tees in the morning for an operation. sadx

Thanks again for your help lads!!!!

They do get a bad press, as have all previous generations of youths.

There are some good un's no doubt.

I was looking out of the window the other day, and I saw this young lass walking along pushing a pushchair, she stopped and bent down to pick what looked like a discarded mobile phone off the floor, she had a quick look at it, realised it was of no value and chucked it back down again on the floor, FFS! I nearly choked on me Garibaldi
