So Richo reckons most of the Bunker posters are now against the Trust.

Prove him right? Prove him wrong? The decision is yours...

I'm for, but would like to see more separation from HUFC. The independent nature of HUST should be strengthened and become a questioning, fan based vehicle to ensure the survival of HUFC. Given the nature of present and previous owners and some frankly disturbing financial irregularities, HUST needs distance, professionalism and a positive media presence. No cosying up to the owners, no giving the not nice people ANY money and providing all of us the surety that if/when it goes bang, HUST is THE body for rescuing / helping a new club rise from the remains.

HUST should also have a mission to never to allow not nice people to come here and bleed clubs like us dry.

Everyone knows who the leader of the Fuck The Trust mob is. Claims he speaks to Pam on the phone every day despite him being the main reason the fans are so divided. I see he turned up on Richos board yesterday saying fans should now pay a tax bill for Pam. He is also the one feeding a lot of the trolls on Facebook Group.
It took me a long time to decide to join The Trust but the last couple of months they have been more professional than the club so it is a yes for me though agree they need to keep their distance from the toxic people running the club and they seem to be doing this !

I agree here. I am for the trust but not if they have people too close to Pam Duxbury which they certainly did have until recently. Getting Mr I back on board is essential too but I doubg that will happen soon.

I'm for but would be happier if John McCue was on the board and Phil Dunn.

Emphatically for. My only reservation is that some things have been played out in private. While I understand that people can be legally obliged to keep figures from books etc quiet for legal reasons everything else should be completely transparent.

If anybody on the Trust board is 'too close' to the club they should be exposed and then shot with shit. Or at least voted off. If it is just that they are a bit too open to listening to the club's side of things then they should be argued against but there is no need for the shit shooting.

So the brains Trust are now saying people on here are ‘against the Trust’ absolutely comical stuff, you couldn’t actually make shit like this up. People like the alleged author of this have tried to derail it from day one and he actually has the brass neck to say it, the irony of this is incredible.

From day one it’s not mattered who set it up or who is involved what is important that we have one, something that has been totally lost of a few trouble causers for a long time.

So the pro trust are now against the trust and the anti trust are pro trust but against anti former pro trusters who are now anti trusters.

I can't even keep up. Just want pools to survive, me.

Even had to edit that about 5 times.

I think 60 out of 61 votes is fairly comprehensive. I dont suppose the fella that doesnt read this place but reported that this place was now anti trust wont report that result.

As it used to say on the old club badge " The Town's Club" so it should be run with the Trust very much involved with a seat on the Clubs board with the interest of the supporters of primary importance. I am sure if there had been some kind of transparency in past dealings we would have had more luck in getting a new owner. As I said in a previous message We Are a Local Club For Local people not for people like you!!

You realise of course that this is going to be construed as "Told you all along - the Trust is them Bunker knuts".

From what I can see and understand for the last few weeks no-one at the Trust has been close to the club and Pam is pissed off with the Trust because of the very professional statements that have been issued in the last few weeks calling out the real issues taking place at Pools.

I pressed yes, does that make me right or wrong, should I be pro TRUST and Bunker, or am I against the Bunker now? Possibly could be anti TRUST without some free delivered Butts bread?

I used to be indecisive, now I can't make my mind up!!!!!

From what I've seen the Trust board members have been very professional all along and yes, we need Mr I and Elvis back on the board if possible.
Is anyone more thorough than Mr I or more obviously passionate about Pools than Elvis?

Bring back Mr I, Mr Dunn and Brian Clough young man. Trust needs to be completely independent and transparent unlike the powers that be at HUFC at the present time and not so distant past.

Been a Pools fan since late 60s. Absolutely gutted with what is happening so I thought I would join The Bunker (just recently) to see if I could pick the bones out of the situation. Yloop has summed it up for me and he is a local (I guess) not like someone who lives in Hartlepools antipodes. Got no idea what factions belong to what factions and I am not totally stupid, it is a total nightmare trying to follow who wants to do what for the future of our beloved club. There seems to be a few sane heads out there trying to get some semblance of shape to the nightmare that has landed in our laps but are immediately knocked down by others. How about someone trying to break down who belongs to who and what they are trying to achieve for us sitting on the outside trying to look in. What I see in this forum is total chaos, all wanting the same thing but acting independently much the same as what's happening out on the field (the Mail is all I have to refer to). Until someone can pull all these independants together on and off the field, I believe it is called teamwork, I cannot see the Club progressing further. It would appear the powers to be are stuffed and upper management have to call it a day because of 'I'm not showing you the books' scenario. Sad, sad, sad, at all levels for the fans, trusts (what ever you want to call it) and the Club itself.

The Trust is easy to spot. It's the one with the neck end of 1000 members that went through all the official channels to give Pools supporters a legally recognized voice.
The Bunker is a message board and that's all. It does not have the vocation to act on anybdy's behalf. Why would it when there's a Trust to do just that?
Because a lot of those who took the initiative to get the Trust up and running also post on here, some people are conflating Bunker and Trust. They shouldn't because the Bunker has no status at all other than that of a message board where those who so choose can air their opinions and tell shite jokes. Its chaotic nature is totally designed in.
You won't see an official Bunker statement on anything besides the Bunker itself.

At least you tried, pissing in the wind but hey ho.

They are back to their best with the trust digs, it`s not for everyone and just get on without them, JM was the reason they wouldn`t join, wonder what it is now?

As Mr Blue says on the other board though, he has always been impartial to the trust until now.

Ahhhaaaa this is comedy Gold.

I was pissing myself earlier on Facebook when he declared he was sick of ‘trying to keep the peace’ or words to that effect.

For years people get pigeon holed ‘Bunkerite’ ‘off the Bunker’ ‘Trust member’ blah blah. Anyone with half a brain, or with an ounce of rational common sense can see why caution should be advised against in handing over any cash to the current owners of our football club. Supporters of other clubs who have been through this for one, don’t throw good money at bad. For the hundredth time nobody wants to see the club die the thought makes me sick to the pit of my stomach but this money in reality is not even a drop in the ocean it will make NO difference to our current plight. I’m sorry but anyone who can’t take that point on board without twisting it around and finger pointing saying ‘you want to the club to fold’ is a fucking half wit.

Chinese Kev continues to talk a staggering amount of half baked shite, he’s got it bad. He’s not a daft bloke either I used to like his contributions on here. He has just posted that the Trust want the club to die and want all of the money.

It’s absolutely unbelievable to read insulting shite like that, does he actually believe that anyone WANTS to club to fold? I feel like fucking crying about the prospect to be honest I think people are just facing up to the reality and gravity of this mess. That is reality by the way not made up cameras streaming games out of a made up hat.

I try not to get personal, I am only commenting on stuff that people have been happy to place on forums. It’s my take on it I have never met the people involved but some of this stuff they are offering online defies belief and much of it is outright wrong. I am massively insulted that anyone thinks that I WANT the club I have loved since I was 6 years old to DIE.

There is a serious blind spot, which prevents people seeing that the "Club" is actually not the HUFC, but a creature inhabited by the body snatchers.

I am yet to be completely convinced by the fan/trust ownership model and having always seen it as a last resort but please just take a second to consider how absurd this all is;

Conmen/asset strippers/ liars have caused this but lets advocate still handing over cash even though we have zero transparency but have pretty much been told the sort of money involved that has been raised won’t even touch the surface. It will have no impact whatsoever of the escalation of this situation, it will just dissapear into a black hole.

But If we go into administration (which is close to certain whether this money is handed over or not) I am finished with Pools, even if that means the upshot of that is that club ends up with people with the very best interests of the club at heart. That next step could also reignite interest as then a prospective buyer will actually have in black and white what it’s going to cost him.

Have I gone fucking mad here? Even if the money has to be handed over surely the next step has to be the bigger picture here and actually saving our club? Delaying the inevitable at a cost is not the way forward.
