Another 400 -500 mysteriously gone missing. Sold 6800 tickets to home fans and they announce that crowd. Total piss take.

some people may have bought a ticket even if they couldn't go in a way of contributing.

So 1/4 of our season ticket holders didnt bother to turn up for one of the most important days ever. Yet fans from around the country did?

A lot of boro fans definitely bought tickets with no intention of coming just to contribute

It was about 1000 under capacity and just over 600 spare seats in the rink end so it seems about right to me.

I bet the Boro fans who bought tickets and did turn up regretted that decision.

Speaking to my Boro supporting mate after the game he couldn’t believe how flat the atmosphere was, how poor the team played and the lack of urgency shown by the players. Shots on target??

Just score a fucking goal was his view of it all. Just give the support something to cheer. Can’t argue with that

I occasionally watch Boro and comparing their matches with ours quite frankly is like watching a different sport.......god knows what the Boro fans were thinking watching that shite!

Neither could we, but we don't have an option.

I thought there was about 7000 there meself like coudnt even get a pint for people dancing on the bar, Totally agree with the post above the atmosphere wasn't what I imagined it to be specially with it been a big crowd, Should of at least scored a goal just to get the crowd going and give us something to cheer about for once.

Completely agree. Thought we'd have to score first or it would finish 0-2.
Just wished I was a betting man !
Disappointed with the vocal support, thought the Town End faithful would be a bit more noisy than that. Suspect if the players had given them something to shout about, they would've been !
Overall, I didn't think we were that bad. Gave away two goals to a lad who clearly knows how to hit the back of the net. ( Though if Craig Harrison had signed him, he'd soon knock that out of him, I suspect)

The atmosphere in the ground was shit but that was 100% down to the manager n players who did absolute nothing to try and get the crowd going.

The atmosphere in the pubs before and after the game was brilliant all fans mixing together without any bother. North East fans easily the best in the country.

I enjoyed the atmosphere in the pubs before hand, I was with my uncle and a wrexham fan and the crowd was canny everywhere i went with plenty of boro fans n tha.

Got into the ground at 10 past 3, obviously massive ques to get in, barely any turnstiles on, standard.

And it had already gone flat, i dont even think we had a proper shot in the first half n the players just give the fans absolutely nothing to shout about.

The first 15 minutes was good atmosphere-wise. Pools just have that uncanny ability to suck the positivity out of everything.

When we kicked of I thought great we're going for it but ten minutes or so later we just reverted to type. No penetration, can't keep the back door shut, not an incisive pass in sight, hardly anything of note on target, same old lack of ideas from the manager etc etc etc.
All this possession that we have is persistently referred to by Harrison but he never mentions the lack of goals emanating from it and Simpson doesn't ask any questions about that aspect either.
I have never known our fans let a manager off the hook like they do this fella. perhaps they're like me.....weary of the whole farce.
I would love to see the so called big three get together and lend us two players each, preferably not selected by Harrison.
