If he actually scores for a change at Guiseley he might take them above Pools in the league. He wouldn't would he?

I really is hard to fathom how shit he's been since the whole furore surrounding his move from here, I never felt he was the most talented or technically gifted player we've had but he was just about the most hard working one I've seen and he was a good instinctive finisher on the deck and with his head for a small lad. How has he scored as few goals and ended up at Barrow? I think he was really badly advised in hindsight.

I'm not sure I would have him back, we did have him back and he scored once from the penalty spot when we were pissing on Morecambe in nearly half a season, which is what he's done everywhere he's been since he left. He doesn't score goals.

I was certainly merry when I posted that yes but I stand by what I said, I'm not sure I'd be rushing out to sign a striker who has scored 4 goals in his last 130 games, his record since he left us is staggeringly shit it's little wonder he's ended up at Barrow.

Fully agree with that, & bearing in mind how many goals he scored for us (in League 1 ?), it is a mystery. Hignett's coaching seemed to bring the best out of him, & oh how I would love to see him performing for Pools like that again.

Perhaps he's never adjusted to living away from the North East?

Perhaps his best attribute was his work rate and once he got his big money move he didn’t work as hard. If he is bright enough to knuckle down there could still be an ok player in there.
