I just can’t see it tbh. Obviously looked at a few clubs (for whatever reason) but why us, now? Basically says he hasn’t got time and we all know as a pure investment he’ll get jack back. This is killing me!

He doesn't sound overly keen to be fair. Must be loving his Swedish club experience and Pools can't compete with what they've achieved. They've got to where they are by signing a lot of players who've failed in England just like Pools but their manager has done a fantastic job.

Read a good article in 442 about them the other month. They are a sed really community focused club and players contracts have clauses written in about community activity.

One thing they do is put on team pantos for the fans. Yes before anyone else says it I know our team does that already etc.

I think the interview itself doesn’t make it sound like the one in talks with Jeff and the trust, but I hope I am wrong as I think the way he runs the club is great, and would suit fan involvement.

Saw Ostersund play against Hertha Berlin recently. Talked to some fans after the game back in our hotel. The club has come from nowhere to the top division and now the Europa League in a very short time. They had nothing but praise for the owner, and they have quite a few English connections as well. Never know, could be something in it.

We've been putting on pantos at this club for years.

Interesting, the Allsvenskan (Swedish top division) runs from March until November, which is obviously completely different to the UK and Europe standard season.

Ostersunds are playing Arsenal in the Europa league in Feb, after 3 months without any competitive football.

Loaning out a few of their best players Nov-Jan would mean that they stay match fit...

I think this looks too good to be true, but I'd be delighted if he saw the passion we have for the club and wanted to be part of it.

Got to watch out for the running jokes whenever Yubep posts, Mr. club :-)

The link up with FC Lahti is right up there with the Millhouse Master Plan in the deeds of Gary Fuckall.

Not sure you are allowed to have a controlling interest in two clubs at once.

Only in this country.

Man City have teams all over the World, they have just bought two more in South America.

If she can say that much in a 'private' message it's baffling why the club hasn't said as much with a clear statement on the website?

Sorry Pam, but there are "So many rumours flying around" because of a total failure of the club's public relations at this very important time.

They probably already have a deal done with Mr Wynyard but see no harm in fleecing the fans for as money coin as possible.
Swapping one lot of property delevopers for another. Fair play to him he has seen an opportunity to put the council over a barrel and grab a load of land with planning permission for nothing. Pam and Watson will keep their jobs and nothing will change. Only we may end up having to go to Wynyard for games in the same way we have to go to Wynyard to the hospital there if we get ill.

If there’s any truth in this what are the chances of some miraculous player recoveries from injuries and illness?

No disrespect to whoever this guy might be, but Arthur Hutchinson was born in Hartlepool too.

Is this the cryptic quiz edition or do you not actually know his name?

Didn't he knock down half the hospital and put houses on the land ? He is a property developer. If he genuinely wants to try and develop the football club long term then great. Just being cautious as he could just be doing this to get the land, same as the lot who got us into the shit in the first place.
Council must retain ownership of the Vic, that transfer cant be part of the deal.
