Majority of the team made up of Youth team players, I would have thought with having no game last week a few of the first team squad would have been included to give them a run out ?
Ryan Catterick, Josh Hawkes and Jack Blackford are the only professional players to be included in the eleven, with the other eight being from McGuckin’s Youth Team.

Good result for the kids.

Let's hope whatever side Harrison puts out on Saturday can take a leaf out of their book. Not great reading in today's Fail that the senior squad is 'ravaged by injuries' and suffering from low morale.

Come on lads, we know you're in a rotten situation but it's time to put on a show for a full house.

It was a decent game and apart from a shaky 15 minute spell in the second half, the youngsters were pretty comfortable. They struggled when Blackford was in possession running at them but Hawkes was the best player on the pitch by quite some way, they couldn't get near him.

Like Simpson, criminal that Hawkes never started season , always the stand out player when I've saw him for the Youths at Blackhall. Cant believe Harrison couldn't see potential, either something we don't know went on, example disciplinary matter or they were wrapped in cotton wool for a reason ( Simpson ). Hawkes even loaned out to Marske FFS! at start of season, after showing promise pre-season. What a fook up.

i think some of these young lads will be getting a run in the 1st team
earlier than you think i would have played them weeks ago
but this manager will never change his ways and try to adapt to the situation
thats why what ever happens he must be relieved of his position

Imo its too late now, throwing them in at deep end because the club are going down the tubes and all the best players will leave shortly, shades of 1994, when a team of youngsters were getting thrashed 7-0 and 8-1 . Simpson and Hawkes were the only two that stood out for me , had they been blooded from the start of the season they could be coming good by now. I will say it again, Harrison worst manager in our history by a country mile.
