Certainly a much more balanced and accurate statement of how things are/have been than the article in "The Independent" quoted earlier.

The last Paragraph says it all in a nutshell.

But the ultimate fact of the matter remains that it should be the club’s responsibility to pay its players and staff, and that it shouldn’t even need to be down to supporters, Hartlepool supporters or the supporters of other clubs to be digging the club out of this hole. If Sage Investments’ due diligence on the business that they only purchased last year wasn’t fit for purpose, that ultimately is – and should be – their loss.

Why should the fans pay the wages and the bills!?!?!

Anyone fancy paying my bills this month? A lot less than £200,000? Thought not!

So why should the fans come to the aid of Sage???

Because 7,000 people don`t want to turn up at your gaff and watch you grumble.

Agree the 200% article is better but what I did like about the Indie piece was a national newspaper putting in black and white that Pools were robbed of promotion to the Championship by a bad refereeing decision.

I find it a bit worrying, that as a town , we cant even fill the Vic with our own supporters in a situation like this.
