Connor Simpson sold to PNE allegedly for £65,000 according to The Northern Echo and Pools again allegedly received £150,000 from The Blades for the transfer of Nathan Thomas. Not sure what to make of these figures as HUFC has this weary policy of non-disclosure over fees for transfers. Where have they got this information from? Any thoughts?

It’s all smoke and mirrors isn’t it?

In the last twelve months and I will probably miss one here I reckon we have sold Toto, Carroll, Laurent, Carson, Thomas, Alessandra, Amond and now Simpson all for fees.

I will say it again and as bluntly, where the fuck is this money going?

Yeah PJ you appear to be right. Even more money siphoned off to who knows where? The key to all of this to move forward (if possible), is to see these elusive books which by law would have to reveal these transfer dealings plus all the other stuff being hidden.

We'll be the only club to sell players for higher fees during administration

I thought £350,000 was suggested at the time, which was also a shockingly low amount.

It took a while but the TMH duo were finally brought to justice. We can only hope that Coxall, his cronies and the current shysters eventually have their collars felt for their criminal activities at Pools although whether the club exists and if so what level of football it will competing in by that time is anyone's guess at present.

There is no way the income equates to the running costs of the club. Even with 29 or however many pro players.

Well meaning individuals are bailing out people who have done very well out of this club.

Sickening.

plus the parachute payment and televised games as others mention. guiseley get about 1000 every week and managed to go full time this season. accrington sold no one for fees over the summer, 900 season tickets sold, average gates about 1,400 = 800 grand profit. must be just a thick northerner as the numbers do not add up for me.

This is a killer. It's absolutely impossible for most of us,if not all, to know exactly what depths our club has descended to financially and for what reasons. Along with most of us I have given Pam Dux the benefit of the doubt and trusted that she had some capability to go along with the trust she was extended. Now we have a situation where we are told that the club needs £200k to survive past the end of this month. No explanation, no detail. Why not ? At the last HUST meeting she claimed to be the custodian of the club which is palpably untrue. She is represents the interests of Sage and that is probably where all recent transfer monies have gone to reduce their exposure. On a broader view, the Coxhall 'legacy issues' she referred to need some explaining. They are either matters of fraud and should be referred to the police or above board and reportable without embarrassment. I'm a semi-retired qualified accountant and observed this kind of stuff over the years. I'd like to know how much of the £200k is a payment to Sage, how much is interest and what sort of debt security has Sage over the club. In the meantime I hope that HUST [of which I'm proud member] don't get bamboozled into releasing all or some of the funds which have been raised. Every penny will be needed once the current calamity has passed and for whatever form the club will then have. Be clear Sage will have it's eyes on it right now.

Great post Ernie. Hear hear and well said and all very reasonable. If there is nothing to hide then why the reluctance to expose the financial dealings to those who matter - the fans. The players come and go as do the fans but we the fans last a bit longer. C'mon Pam Duxbury. Why no transparency here? And on my original post, according to the mail the Connor Simpson transfer netted £50,000. So which is it? Important to know in the scheme of things with figures of £200,000 being bandied around as an immediate survival amount.
