I know it's been mentioned on here a few times already, but saw this article published today which suggests it's a done deal that he's going to Preston.

We failed to tie him down to a professional contract. FFS. Hope we still get compensation.

I think we'll still be entitled to compensation, but it won't be much given we've hardly played him.

Plus the fact I can't see us paying out to take the fee to tribunal. If Preston pay his bus fare and promise to wash his kit that'll probably do for us.

Probably wont be any sell on either as its hardly any use to owners about to jump ship is it?

Dont think we have a very good bargaining position to demand any type of money from preston.

They know we are skint, they borrowed us hugill couple of year ago probably for nowt and he kept us up.

As a gesture they'll probably offer 50k plus a 15% sell on. I'd bite their hands off for that at the moment.

Pay the laundry bill and buy a bloody washing machine.

Thing is Pam and co are fucking off so they wont want any sell on fee as it doesnt benefit them. Will probably just say "make it £51k and scrap the sell on fee and you got a deal."

We'll haggle that down to £20k and no sell on.

Thats the problem now, you give pools money now your just giving money to pam n the debt. Pools are not really gunna benefit. Not sure what the answer is there.

No doubt i'll be screenshotted online for saying dont give pools money.

YUBEP OUT!

I'd get good money that the fee is undisclosed. We don't want other clubs knowing how much we got for him then pushing their asking price up for players we are interested in.
