I know our future is up in the air but from a football point of view Harrison has got to walk away and at least give us a fighting chance coz this is getting fecking embarrassing!

Chester won today.

All it takes is for them or another from the bottom four to go on a run and this happens every year. We are 8 points clear of the bottom four. Newport anyone?

Need a lift from somewhere very soon, ideally an announcement about the longer term future of our club. If not then something in the short term that will give the players a lift and starting getting a few points on the board to give us some breathing space.

But depressingly I am not confident of either

I would be more tempted to get the tube to Essex and find the biggest conning chancer who has caused this mess in the first place

Sad beyond belief, a cancer has been running through our club for the last two years, it needs removing.

If this doesn't signal the end for Harrison, then it's fairly obvious that he's gonna be left in charge till the end of the season. That tells me all I need to know. Is there any point in turning up any more, the club is imploding.

I hope not.

Yeah he’s struggling big time and in normal circumstances would probably be sacked but the club is in an absolute mess and that’s not his fault. He didn’t appoint himself he’s doing his best and the club has far greater problems I hope he doesn’t get hassled on a train to be honest, he’s a human being at the end of the day.

Not his fault? Am i missing something in this statement, he pick's the team,he made most of the signing's and he decides the tactics which are totally inept. So how do you come to the conclusion he shouldn't be sacked?

Read my post again. How do you come to the conclusion I am saying he shouldn’t be sacked!!? He is not why the club is in financial meltdown if we were doing better on the field the problems off it which threaten the clubs future would be still there.

Can we not put him on leave or something?

If we can't afford to pay him off, can't we tell him to put his feet up and put Bates in charge?

Not saying Bates long-term, but anyone, anything, would be better than Harrison at this point. An inanimate carbon rod perhaps?

Notice that TNS are still walking their league even without Harrison, funny that, he’s either left a legacy behind or he got lucky with a decent team in a poor league, including a team of students from Cardiff Met Uni

He’s not going to be sacked while the current people who are charge still are though so it’s pointless even talking about it. If they aren’t paying laundry bills then they aren’t going to pay a blokes contract up are they? With no certainty if the players or anyone will get payed at the end of the month which ones will be still here I think anyone would have a job getting results right now, not excusing or suggesting he isn’t out if his deity but someone gets the wrong end of the stick again; the club is turmoil who is manager isn’t really important.

Yes, we're seriously in the shit. But, I'd rather Be seriously in the shit without Harrison managing the team. Promote someone from within, anyone. His presence is now an hindrance.

TNS have long been a shark in a fishtank rather than a big fish in a small pond - AFAIK the only properly pro team in the LoW. It's no surprise that they're carrying on in the same vein.

I thought the Harrison appointment was an interesting if risky one - it hasn't paid off, but it's difficult to see who we might bring in at this point. While it is ultimately something of a side dish to the main course of making sure we have a club to follow at all, the fact that we are stuck with him for the forseeable future is a symptom of what's going on - unless he walks (ie no compensation) we're not going to see the back of him.....

Put the fecker on gardening leave and install Matty Bates as caretaker boss again until such time that the takeover is complete and the new owners bring in someone who actually knows what he is doing - it cannot possibly get any worse than it is under the numpty Harrison. I don't give a fcuk what the stats say, he is the worst excuse for a manager in Pools history at the worst possible time and is DIRECTLY more than partly responsible for the clubs plight. He is currently hiding behind the clubs financial problems and before that one or two injuries. Even totally detached Boro, Mackem and Mags fans at work have commented on his inane radio interviews and questioned why he is still in a job how and how he was ever appointed as Pools boss in the first place.

I wouldn`t put Bates as caretaker of anything, anybody who gets done for drink driving deserves to be shot with shit, irresponsible and selfish.

Disagree. That's like saying your house may be getting repossessed shortly, so I won't bother fixing that massive gas leak in the cellar. He has to go.

I can where mr I is coming from. We have massive issues off the field that can over shadow anything on the pitch.

You’re both right Tbf

I agree it's a dilemma, but on the remote chance of us possibly getting a buyer I'd rather we were still in this league not relegated again.

Surely the cost of leaving him in charge is greater than the cost of getting rid of him? The value of the club and the amount of money Sage can recover must be falling rapidly with every farce / fixture that passes.

I don’t think Sage will want to pay off two employees from their contracts when they already want out

Harrison has this style of play, dare I use the word.... tactic's in his head that clearly doesn't suit our players, but which he is determined to pursue to the bitter end, which entails also playing people out of position, thing is if this is allowed to continue he could take us down another rung.

He also doesn't seem to possess any bartering skills, anybody with a bit of common would have brokered (for example) a deal with Preston for Simpson to go on trial in exchange for a experienced left back on loan.....which is as plain as the nose on your face a position we have struggled with all season.

100% agree that Harrison and Jenkins have to go now. The club has multiple problems but the fans - the people that the future depends on - should not be expected to put up with his tactical ineptitude any longer. Harrison himself admits that he sounds like a broken record after games - not that he's prepared to recognise that blaming the players week after week is a recipe for disaster.

Supposedly the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Assuming there's anyone left at the club prepared to make an executive decision, Harrison has to be put out of his misery - this week.

For me we need to go right back to basics, get young Robinson in at full back and employ a good old fashioned off-side trap, marshalled by Watson. We don't possess the pace to cope with people running at us so let's just employ a rigid back four with someone with pace like Rodney playing in the middle (in Featherstone's absence) in a Tshibola type role and closing down the oppositions pace men as soon as they get the ball.
Yesterday as in many away games this season we afforded the oppo's creative players far too much room, we can't seem to close them down or disrupt their threat. It does make you wonder whether we employ a scouting system at all.......ffs try something different.

As you often say in many of your posts....."where does it say holding midfielder?",....... a disrupting midfielder, someone to hassle the oppo', get and foot in, someone to get the ball back and give it to someone who can create something. A holding midfielder?.... ffs we've got about 7 of them on the books.

You said in the middle in Featherstones absence which is holding midfield. I see nothing in Rodney’s game that suggests he could play centre midfield. Here’s an idea why don’t we stop playing people out of position!? Radical I know.

As it stands, anyone interested in buying the club watching yesterday will have asked themselves whether they really want to invest heavily in a team that looks relegation material, where players are clearly struggling, and the management and coaching is non existent.

We played well for 20 minutes, but the rest of the game were second best by a long way.

Their decision making this last 12 months or so has been absolutely bizarre. Not sure where their field of expertise lies, but it clearly isn't football.

I'm also not convinced the guy from Sage is even involved any more.

The most important comment on any thread is thus last sentence. And worrying. Yet nobody has commented on it.

Unfortunately because we are so shit at the moment the off the field stuff is kinda getting brushed under the carpet a bit.

It needs to be priority really.

I'll probably get ridiculed for this but am going to say it anyway, I'd rather have Rodney trotter upfront better height, Devante Rodney seems to run out of steam after about half an hour when I've seen him play and that's the majority of away games to, Just leave Rodney (Trotter) in the box and hoof balls up to him, Trig left back Mickey Pearce midfield I think they would do a better job than the lot we have got a lot of people blame the manager doesn't matter what manager we have we have shit players bar 1 or 2 half decent, Yeah he is clueless and Shite tactics but we'l only be saying this again a year or 2 down the line with a different manager but agree the posts above he does need to walk.

On the bunker there are a lots of comments on who should play where with some quite controversial suggestions being made.
So lets go the whole fucking hog!

GK Munns
RB Cassidy
CBR Adeloye
CBL Rodney
LB Franks
MID Magnay
MID Oates
MID Laing
MID Simpson
FWD Newton
FWD Donnelly

No subs just like the good old days :scared-eek:

I can only assume you are referring to this thread. I am actually quite alarmed that people could possibly say these things. I understand their concerns but the suggestions here are quite mental.

His hearts in the right place and good on him but his ideas are the commerce equivalent of my daughter with her play school till
