I think most fans are expecting defeat. Maybe players can mingle with fans on the way down and generate a stronger together type vibe. It's about all we've got if there's a risk of them not being paid.

I think the trains are "dry" on Saturday nights which may be a good thing.

More likely to be on the train because there is an unpaid bill for travel owed to the company that normally takes them. Don't know that for a fact, but heard a very strong rumour from reliable sources that Blackledge has walked away and it is now Pam on her own and general bills are not being paid this month.
Hope The Trust genuinely does have a plan in place to step in and rescue the club because it is starting to sound like it is only a matter of weeks now before we go under.

Can’t be cheap covering the cost of them all travelling by rail either though? And surely that would be paid in advance

I just hope we pick up no more injuries when they have to leap over the barriers and leg it when they arrive at Kings Cross.

Yeah get that about the overnight stay like, so agree there is an element of cost cutting. Just would not have thought it would be cheaper than using the bus for the day

Not if there is outstanding bills not paid, maybe it was a forced issue?

I see they are now selling match worn kit on e-bay according to the mail, just like the pint glasses last year

They sold a colouring pencil set too.

I get impression they are just raiding every cupboard they can to find something to sell off.

That is ridiculous, they are turning us into the laughing stock of the football community, how did it ever get to this. It's soul destroying watching our beloved club stripped of everything :angry-screaming:

Can only hope the rumours are untrue ( was one doing the rounds on FB last night the laundry bill hadn't been paid ) as this sort of thing would do a lot of damage to the clubs reputation which the new owner would have to repair.

I think a formal statement from the club via their Official Website is long overdue to be honest.

If they were to put out a statement for every rumour on facebook we would need a department of media executives and clerks, which level of bull waffle would be suitable to refute?
