Always lots of injuries when players dont know when they will next be paid. Dont blame them either.

How many different injuries has Ledger had since he came here anyway?

If he getting this many at his age then it doesnt bode well.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa tree, can i change your username to lord arseychops?

These pesky injury problems always crop up amongst our most highest paid, at the time wages are an issue, funny that.

Strange comment from Harrison about Magnay saying that he’s been training but he’ll have to see where he’s at mentally!? Could be nothing in that obviously and I’m over thinking but surely he’s either fit or he isn’t fit? He’s the captain we need him out there.

These are the problems under the surface that harrison is having to deal with.

Of course he's not blameless, but it doesnt help.

You start delaying wages, tell players the clubs up for sale, tell them you might not get paid next month n you get issues.

I like that name "Lord Arseychops".Perhaps we could have one of the trains that are going to replace the Pacers named that.
Would the trust pay for the nameplate?

Leaving players out on the pitch when they're obviously knackered and need subbing is a more obvious reason. Oates was down for treatment several times second half and couldn't have made it clearer he needed taking off if he'd fired a distress flare. Watson shouldn't have been expected to last 90 minutes so soon after a long injury lay off. It was obvious there was something wrong with Woods Saturday and I doubt if he should have been playing at all.

Ledger's wages are being paid by the Boro - he is playing for his future and missing so many games with that recurring nasal groinal back strain must be a worry.

I can't agree with that. If they HAVE been told they won't get paid, fine, if they have been told they might not be paid, which is stupid anyway, then you don't play and do get paid, what the hell have we maybe paid them for.

That there was possibly my finest ever sentence constructed!

Look, if player A wants to leave the club, surely the best thing to do is play your way out, do you talking on the pitch and other teams will be interested. For all I still struggle with Liam Donnelly after the stupid heads gone moment at Leyton Orient last season, for which I thought he should have apologised. He's kept his head down, put in performances for both the U21s and Pools, low and behold there is interest from League Clubs. Fair fucking play.

Or maybe appearance bonuses are higher for these players and it's not their choice?

Did Buster ever get replaced or did we end up with his assistant getting the job full time ?
I would have thought a full time physiotherapist was one of the essential and most important jobs at the club. Clearly our Head of Recruitment saw it differently . Anyone know if this Head of Recruitment is still on the payroll ? I heard he is but is rarely seen at the club despite allegedly being on more money than a lot of the players he brought in.
As I said the other day I am sure someone must be making money from all these players going out of the club and coming in.
Anyway never known a season like it for injuries. Don't think there is a single player in the squad that hasn't been injured at some point this season #bringbackbuster

I just wonder if the financial situation gets so bad that our big three neighbours (Mags/Mackems/Boro) would loan us players and pay the wages so we can field a competitive team.
I think week by week the financial news coming out of the club is getting worse and its only heading in one direction.
Its getting scary now.

The club want at least half a dozen players off the books in the next 2-3 weeks FACT
Players have been told wages are not guaranteed to be paid by the club this month FACT
If you knew the club was teetering on the brink of Admin, you had won one game in 13, morale was at an all time low, supporters were on your backs at away games, and you had a move to another club lined up would you risk getting injured in training or a game ?
This is their livelihood, most of them will have families, and some who have been at the club a while are going through this for the second time in 12 months.
Club is rotten, needs to start again from scratch.

Does that Liam Kennedy ever proof read his articles? does my tits in. Also, when did Nicky Featherstone break his leg??

Can't even begin to imagine what the line up would be if all of those mentioned players are injured

Why on earth would Diddlesbrough be paying Ledger’s wages?

This has all the signs of being exactly like last season, a mid table ish side showing signs of potential we could maybe challenge for the play offs with some consistent management/a decent addition or 2. Then come late autumn behind scenes problems arise, results drop off, fire sale ensues and on pitch results go into meltdown.

To me we look nailed on to be dragged into a relegation battle now unless a miraculous new wealthy owner appears out of nowhere during this transfer window and everything stabilises. I wish I could find a ray of hope in the short term, worse times ahead I reckon before things can get better

Why on earth would Diddlesbrough be paying Ledger’s wages?

Because we couldn't possibly afford them?
