Hartlepool 1-2 Blyth

3 years to the day since that lovely FA cup night. Didnt pools keep the prices at like £20 odd quid and we done a takeaway night on here?

Hands up who thought things couldnt get any worse. :hand:

Probably lowest point in my pools history. I think most of us expected it. Only surprise was we actually took the lead. Was a horrible poisonous time , that set the tone for situation we now find ourselves in.

The worst part wasn't that we took the lead, it was Marlon's weak as piss barely struggling to the line not being counted that cued the inevitable defeat. From that moment on it was inevitable.

Deep down, I still miss Marlon. That last game against Carlisle was a football masterclass.

That goal should of stood, the rest is history, the start of our slide towards the Wearside League :angry-screaming:

I miss him too actually (not to the extent that the Fenwick mob think he could still do a job mind). When he was on his game he was enjoyable to watch and we dont have many of them at the moment.

Always raised a smile when he was holding players off left, right and centre with his arse.
