Are you asking a question!?

I’d say no if you are I don’t really think glamour and the FA Trophy belong in the same sentence!

They scored 5 , aargh !! surely not the potential for a new defining low in our season. Having did a bit of pub research on both towns, would of preferred Glossop. Workington is a right shit hole ( think Seaham Harbour in the 1990s) only Wetherspoons worth drinking in, full of shit corner end pubs with no real ale or one ale that tastes like vinegar.

Last time I was in that pub, I was stood at the bar waiting to be served, unaware of local queuing customs and typical of spoons bar staff, barman asked who's next, I said pint of whatever , and this old bounder tapped me on the shoulder and said " i'm next" . Not a problem, as I hate queue jumping myself, but I was unaware I had, I had just walked to the front, when apparently they queue from the left in The Henry Bessemer. He only had to say, not tap me forcefully on the shoulder, should of decked him.

I don't think I'd have started a fight in a pub in Workington. I'd have probably bought his beer to be on the safe side.

If you think Workington’s bad, try Maryport...... on second thoughts don’t!

Whitehaven is picturesque if you squint at it the right way.

Anyhow, I like West Cumbria, though granted the views around Ennerdale are better than Windscale or Workington.

Classic joke that, and not a ‘one liner’ at all.

Moving peoples posts the most hilarious thing since moderators started editing people’s.

The true acid test will be to see if Mr Butt finds the joke funny. I have a feeling it’s not route one enough for his liking.

I moved it where it belongs.

Like finding a hedgehog on the road, took it back to the bush.

I took your joke to the safe haven of monkey butts joke thread.

The joke would have wanted it that way.

Calm down petal.

You live in dubai, and your crying on an internet forum about hufc, about a joke being moved...

Say that out loud 5 times.

I’m sure the original writer of that one will be as furious as I am, or he would if he wasn’t long dead.

I’m off to write some mother in law material and a few about Pakistanis.

I feel victimised like that Poolie Kev fella who lives in Japan.

Could you use hedgerow...... instead of bush, it could be misconstrued.

I worked in Workington a few years ago, what a depressing place, my parents when alive visited Maryport, they got talking too the the local plod. He basically said wtf did you come here ?
There are a few worse places in the world than the village of Hartlepool on the N.E. Coast believe me.

workington might not be the best place on the universe when you eventually get there but compared to luton it would be a place to retire to.
