The Band. I remember them when they first became popular. I saw them in a room with only 3 other people probably. Never really heard much after that, yet Amazon (in their Black Friday offers) has an 8 CD (I really didn't know they had that many albums) on offer for 28 snodgers(copyright Mr Mutley) plus other stuff. Is it worth buying???

Ps I'm not and never was a pretentious student!!!!!

They were a bit different when they first released stuff but quite a one trick pony. I reckon 5 of those albums will be exactly the same as each other.

Even The Auteurs were better than Suede.

First two records were brilliant, two of the best britpop records. Towards the end of their first run they were releasing some very poor stuff though. Since they returned they've released one decent album, before finding their feet on the new one (believe it came out Jan 2016).

Not sure if it's worth owning some of their stuff. But three good albums and a few decent ones for £28 isn't bad

Their b-sides album ‘Sci-Fi Lullabies’ is really worth a listen.
