Our defence will need to keep him bottled up to avoid any Brandy shots. Not wishing ill on anyone but schnapping him early on could help towards a top shelf performance.

I'm pleased that we're finally having a go at teams with the 4-3-3 rather than changing it all the time and keeping Deverdics left back is a plus to, Who knows hopefully we can string a few results together and get in to that top 6.

If he'd changed the team from midweek everyone would have gone into meltdown. Shit result, move onto the next game and make changes then if required.

The thing is the teams at the top are determined to give everyone a chance, they all dropped points again. Any team with a bit of consistency would piss this league

We will never get anywhere while we persist with Harrison and laing. Jesus halifax could have had 4 the other night and they were utter shite. Saying that they are just a part of the problem. We are such a poor team, we would need a complete overhaul and thats not going to happen.

Halifax were a poor side. Any tesult other than a victory at home would have been 'unwelcome'.
From this result today it looks like Harrison is no nearer to finding his way teamwise.
As for Harrison and Laing, I'm speechless. Harrison fills me with despair and Laing is as mobile as one of the rigs built at Laings Yard in the 70's....although the rig may just have the edge.

I’m not sure Laing is as bad as Harrison, but both need to be replaced!

Pools were beaten by a team of part timers today only promoted last season. Their players couldn’t survive on the wages that Pools pay. Listening to it on Borer Radio they didn’t appear to tire or Pools weren’t good enough to put them under pressure.
If Pools don’t go straight back up which I can’t see it happening they should consider going or they be forced to go part time.
I am sure there are loads of North East Players who take care of themselves who will be equal or better than some of the current squad but can’t afford to be full time.

We were very poor today, no credit can be taken by any of the players. No excuses, not good enough. The travelling support is attending in hope rather than expectation.

One step forwards on Tuesday night, two steps back this afternoon. Rather depressing. I’d be embarrassed if I was a Pools player tonight.

Thought we won the league on Tuesday at 8-30. So surely today match didn't count. Anyone at the match today how many back passes where clapped as if we scored. Till we got it back to the keeper to launch up top for there midfield to collect. I believe it's called ball retention.

Do footballers every get embarrassed, I don’t think so,if you performed so inconsistently in your every day job you might up being sacked, footballers are on fixed term contracts, they can’t be sacked !

I can’t see us ever dropping further unless we go pop and I wouldn’t say you need to spend big to get out of the conference either. What we need is some competent players with a strong mentality and a real will to get out of this league. I would love to see the win percentage of each player in the squad throughout their career. I can’t recall anyone ever being in a decent successful side Donaldson and Loach maybe. We need to root out the chronic losers.
