1. It's not just me who seems to be losing interest. Low crowd. I'll be there but only because the CF Strongarm is ace.
2. Nil nil.
3. Cassidy sent off.

Bounce back, 3 - 1, half the board gets carried away and says the title is inevitable, the rest go on about one swallow does not a summer make and they give abuse to the manager for not playing this team earlier in the season.

Some people will be in the Vic to watch, Jenny Lonrose will not score.

1-1 OG to score for us without any of our players in their half or us having a shot on goal all game.

1-0 down at half time, no shots of note. Formation/personnel change at HT. We try a little bit harder for 25 mins, Franks misses a half chance (our only chance) somewhere in these 25 mins. 2-0 down between 70-80 mins. Mass walk out. Lose 3-0.

Pools 5 Halifax 4 (Franks 6) 2277 (2 Halifax)

Best match seen at the Vic in donkey's years. 2275 fan pitch invasion and CH carried off shoulder high (with the help of a JCB).

Match will be called off as no matter how much the match balls are pumped up, they will still be flat...

Halifax are without Kosylo, who was comfortably their best player from November onwards last season. Also missing Brown, who brings a bit of stability and passion to the back four. We should be able to hold them out relatively well. Though the height of Denton may cause problems, the good news is there's no pace up top now.

From our perspective, we should go back to what was working with a more defensive three in midfield and drop Dev back to LB. We have enough to win this game and I expect us to do so.

2-0 Pools with Cassidy and Rodney scoring. 3043 w/ 195 Shaymen making the trip

You deride happiness from seeing one of our weakest starting elevens ever!!

That looks a really dogshit team to me. The shape looks better than Saturday that’s about it.

Ledger on the bench? I'd rather play a unfit ledger than a fully fit Scott Harrison you can train a chimp to defend better than Scott Harrison.

We’d be 5-0 up with my formation.

Harrison’s negative tactics are again holding us back.

At last we attacked through midfield and scored 3 very good goals and a decent won penalty.
Newton was like having a new signing he played well and gave us a lot of energy in the midfield.
Overall once we went 3 nil up it was just like a training session after that.

Great performance not one player had a bad game. Much better. Halifax where very poor but we finally outplayed and outclassed a team in every position. Newton had a great game and Oates caused trouble and chased everything all night.

Still wasn't good enough for some like. Unbelievable to still have moaning and booing at 3 - 0 up at home and in total control of the game. Some people are fucking thick.

But apart from that what a good night more performances like that please.

Whilst I am pleased we have got a great result, I do a bet with 2 singles & a double every game on Pools to win & BTTS. My other team won 2-1 tonight, so I have one of the single bets, but not the double. One day I will get both up & win a few hundred, alas not tonight!!

They have no concept of how the game works. The game was won after half an hour. Keep the ball and make them chase it. The same people moaning at the ball going backwards would moan if it was lumped forward and lost.

The booing when 3-0 up with ten minutes left was ridiculous.

Halifax were very poor. We played well. They had a few very good chances that they missed.
Rejoice Rejoice! Fetherstone outstanding.

It was great watching Pools pass it around at the back and keep possesion and make them chase around for it. As you say people still shouting get it forward when 3 then 4-0 up. They have set the standard now and we have to match that performence from now on and not slip back as we seem to do, time will tell like.

Think three assists from Woodsy as well? Thought the midfield combo worked well tonight - both Woods and Newton were up and down the pitch and positive in possession

Well id take that 4-0 win over a 4-0 loss anyday I think if we would of got beat tonight I think people would of been calling for Harrisons Head (that's if they wernt already) I think tonight's performance saved his job in all honesty, Halifax were very poor in my opinion just goes to show you how piss poor this league actually is.

Using my brain, I would start Adeloye who was excellent when he came on, quick feet and skillful over the average Rodney who I thought put in one decent cross and doesn`t read the game well which limits his involvement.
