I predict that we'll do better down there than we did at Morecambe.

Usually but you're forgetting the famous Boreham Wood Poolies. Huge extended family who've been waiting for this for a very long time.

We have relied on pathetic finishing by opponents in order to put together a decent run but our luck ran out at Morecambe and I fear that Boreham Wood will be a repeat.

B/Wood 3 - 1 Pools. 125 Poolies going but none with tickets to Strictly.

I predict my youngest will be cold and bored, constantly chewing for food and drink.

And we'll lose 1-0.

Please note there is no gap in its name,

Borehamwood (/ˌbɔːrəmˈwʊd/—originally spelt Boreham Wood), is a town in southern Hertfordshire. It is a commuter town near Watford and London, situated 12 miles (19 km) from Charing Cross. Borehamwood has a population of 31,074,[1] and is within the civil parish of Elstree and Borehamwood and the London commuter belt.[2] There is one weekly newspaper, the Borehamwood and Elstree Times. The town is perhaps most well known for its film and TV studios, commonly known as Elstree Studios, hence the association with Elstree.

We had a word with them to open more than the one turnstile currently open. Mad queues fifteen minutes ago and still a couple of hundred in the pubs on the high street. I reckon we might have 500 today

Good result in my opinion they had a good result in F.A Cup last week so would imagine they would of been up for it, We have still got good league form hopefully we can get at least 4 points or maybe 6 out of these next 2 home games and get into the play offs.

Good that Cassidy is back in the squad; Pools have been very short of attacking options.

Anyone who was there got an opinion on Adeloye? How'd he do when came on?

Got sent on to run about a lot, which he did to little effect.

Richardson, Laing and Harrison are absolute suicide. I will cut Richardson a bit of slack because he’s young and would probably be better with better players alongside him guiding him through. As for the other two. I’d earthed have Watson playing in a wheelchair than Harrison ever turning out again.

I’d cut Richardson even more slack seen as until he got thrown in last season as a 17 year old kid he’d never not really played full back before. It did show at times but he performed well to be fair and emerged with more credit than a fair few more experienced colleagues.

I do agree to an extent though, it’s a measure of how awful this League is when you can field the back four we did today against an in form team and keep a clean sheet

It’s a good point that, it’s one more than I thought we’d pick up today.

Laing makes me panic like fuck. We really rode our luck and got away with it again, mainly thanks to Loach. Although Harrison made a superb tackle late on.

Rodney was our dangerman, should have seen more of the ball as he created mors than anyone else. I like George, I'm hoping he is the midfielder we've been lacking for years.

We lost momentum when Franks and Oates came off, the subs gave us less options. Nice to see Cassidy back though.

Overall I was well happy with a point. Yet another physical side who made life really difficult for us.

That was shite today, it really was.
They had all the chances, including a penalty.
How it ended up a scoreless draw beats me.
We did not have one meaningful shot on target.
Loach saved us again today, although their attackers were abysmal and the guy who took the penalty............well.
I'm not sure that this team could compete in the football league, without massive investment. The Morecambe game hints very strongly at that.

Not good enough I'm afraid, for the umpteenth time this season Scott Loach saves the day after Harrison's (Scott) now obligatory gaffe which literally occurs every time that he is restored to the starting line-up. Harrison (Craig) needs to actually manage the squad instead of simply talking about it or F-off and allow someone with at least a bit of a clue to take over. OK so we've only lost once in a zillion games - so wtf, we are still mid-table nobodies in what is a pathetically poor league. We have a golden opportunity to get out of this lousy division and back into the EFL at the first attempt bit its not going to happen unless a) some DESPERATELY needed quality is introduced to the side and b) a team boss with rather more ambition than pulling everyone back into the box at set pieces and actually wanting to WIN games instead of simply avoiding defeat at all costs is appointed.

I don't think its that bad. The no outlet from corners thing annoys me too, but a draw and a clean sheet away at a form side isn't shabby. With Cassidy coming back we will hopefully see more action up the other end from now one.

Some of the results we've had in the last ten years and people are getting outraged about this one? Id of took a point before the game and i'm always thankful if there's a clean sheet in any game Scott Harrison starts.

i think the desire to win is missing, if you go out to not lose, the mind set is hardly to attack but defend and hope for a a breakaway, i do appreciate we are not losing but who ever got promoted by drawing every game sctatchinghead

It beggars belief that expectations are so low by many contributors to this board. Sorry but draws and clean sheets away from home ain't going to get us into the promotion frame while our home form is utter shite as a direct result of the aforementioned lack of quality coupled with Harrison's negativity. Harrison regular states that 'winning is all that matters' yet he doesn't set his team out to achieve that nor do his tactics reflect this outlook. No-one is suggesting that he should go gung-ho especially when he is often enforced to play a centre back pairing of Laing and Harrison that would not look out of place on Saltburn beach. Monkeybutt is spot on the desire to actually WIN is missing despite Harrison's constant tiresome tirade of managerspeak to the contrary. The players seem quite satisified not to lose and too many fans are of the same opnion i.e. that it will be 'alright in the end'.

As far as i can see this season is all about Harrison preserving his job after the disastrous opening six games when he had one foot in the dole office prior to the Guiseley game. Pools are a big club in this league but we are currently underachieving badly and will continue to so until a decision is made to go onto the offensive - or there is a regime change. Sick of hearing how 'decent' the opposition are - no doubt Harrison has a 100 page dossier on these side who are probably world beaters compared to the Dog & Duck outfits that he was used to in his former life. If this has rubbed off on the players then little wonder that they rejoice at points scraped at Boreham Wood and other places that we had never heard of prior to this soulless campaign. How about growing some balls Harrison et al and forcing opponents to worry abut US for a change?

We haven't got 10 pence to scratch together, at the start of the season I'd resigned myself to being in the NLN last year after how badly we started. Now we're not losing games and we're 2 points off the playoffs.

Two points off the play offs yes, along with a dozen other wannabees - but light years away from even the bottom of L2 on the strength of last weeks pathetic display. And this is where we will remain until such time that someone within grasps the no-pain, no-gain nettle.

Come on smokin Joe be happy singing and dancing in the streets we didn't lose. You will be shot down for not supporting the bore the opposition into submission approach. This is not a hard league but a poor league in comparison to last season. Like all the other leagues that so called experts mention when relegated. This league is especially poor and the lack of attacking threat is embarrassing to the management. If we cannot win now when will we when it counts we are grateful for points on the performance. Loved reading about the Camino of a running about nuisance it's not under 8s football this is professional football. Or at least the gate admission prices suggest. We have a great chance to escape this fiasco but don't seem to celebrate it in performance of any note. I personally love pools but there performance and application is saddening. I hope Craig can bring joy back to match days but I cannot see it on evidence.
