Blackford skins the right back, puts a beautifull ball on the 6 yard line and the clumsy overweight centre halh slices it into own goal, 1-0 Shildon.

Should have had a bag full, awful wind but Blackford is what we are missing, such quick feet and tortured the left back, should have scored 1, but crosses into the box are quality.

You are aware that you were watching a game in the Nortern League. He's what we're missing?

Who he getting a game ahead of?

More importantly, Mr Butt visited the land of the Hillfolk, just next to the Metropolis without offering/bringing any bread. FACT

Rodney who is playing on the wing and isn`t a winger.

We don't play with wingers which is probably a main reason the kid isn't getting a look in.

It's not hard to know more about football than you, you can go to as many games as you like and you'll still talk absolute rubbish about the game. I understand the system we are playing and how we set up and organise ourselves and it doesn't involve out and out wingers. The three forward players all interchanged today during the first half, Franks started in the middle, Rodney wasn't even on the bench today by the way....

Bigging up a kid because he lives near you is cringeworthy stuff.

That has got to be the mosy cringeworthy post you have ever posted. PJ.
Look. you have moved to pastures new, which is your prerogative, on top of that you are bored out of your tiny little mind but please find something better to do than bore the arse of the rest of us. You are a complete embarrassment to this board and one of the obvious reasons why this forum is going completely downhill .

It's been a while since you've come out with a completely bonkers random outburst Derwent. The irony of you suggesting someone should wind their neck after that overly personal tirade, you don't know me from Adam. Hilarious stuff.

I am making a valid point, it's nothing against the lad Blackford but he's an out and out winger and will struggle to get involved here while the manager is playing a fairly conservative system that doesn't involve old fashioned wingers. If he was as good as being suggested he wouldn't be playing in the Northern League with all due respect, and one of the recent Pools managers would have given him a go? Obviously if you know him anf his family you want him to do well but he's a long way from our first team at the moment who have lost one game in thirteen.

I'm agreeing with PJ. Probably coz he offered to drive his new car from his new home in Colombia to pick some fresh bread up, deliver it to the Metropolis, AND then take me and Dad back to his for Xmas (Mr PJ has already bought a frozen Turkey), before dropping us back home. Thats Bunker friendship. FACT

PS Also as an aside Mr PJ does talk a little football sense sometimes.

I asked who should young Blackford replace in today's team given we had just won, Mr Butt responded with someone who wasn't involved today.

The manager hasn`t seen him play in a competitive game due to Jack being injured until 4 weeks ago, he has gone to Shildon to get match fit and played 90 minutes in all 3 games he has played, he crosses a ball better than anybody we have and beats players for fun, just a pity the manager hasn`t seen him.

I would play him before Rodney because he offers more and creates goals, 3 in two games.

Does he offer more in the team shape we play, at the level we play which is incredibly physical and competitive though? You see more veterans than kids at this level. He's obviously talented but first team football is a big leap. The manager I'm sure has considered and evaluated every single player on the books and thinks this is the right move for him now. I hope you're right and comes back flying, I'm still struggling to see where he'll fit in this season how we're setting up. Two of the three who started in forward positions today scored and the other has been our best outfield player in recent weeks.

So this is a thread about going to watch one of our own players out on loan...

Then you get involved by talking down to mr butt, then try n take the moral high ground Later on when he bites back.

He rates one of our own players, whys that a crime?

He has a season ticket n watches our first team and thinks Blackford could improve it.

He’s entitled to that

Give the guy a bloody break man

Derwents right, you’ve became more chewy since you went abroad.

Have a break for a few days or summit man, go get some fresh air, if that’s possible over there.

I suggest you read the thread again and see who started being 'chewy' first. I asked a fair question and made a valid point I got in response 'how would you know' which admittedly got my back up and I gave a bit back, but still made a valid point.

Derwent wasn't right at all, his post was absolutely riduliculous and out of order.

“You do realise you’re watching northern league”

Is that how you talk to people?

Ffs grow up. Childish as this

I’ve read the thread, I went back to the beginning to see you being a prick again.

Do you have to turn every thread into ones like this man?

Seriously and you're a moderator, Christ.

The point about the level of football is fair as was the one about us not playing with out and out wingers. If pointing that out is acting like a prick then so be it.

Why?

I just thought it was a big call for him to suggest a kid on loan at a Northern League club is what we're missing when we're a good run results wise and it would mean changing the way the team sets up. It's a massive leap from reserve team and Northern League football.

He's had his say and I've had mine he thinks the lad should be involved and realistically I think he's nowhere near. I hope he comes back and is fantastic as he obviously has ability. I don't really see the problem or what you're getting excited about.

It's not a big call it's just an opinion. People are entitled to them PJ try discussing and not ranting. We all know you in the Middle East just use your imagination and pull the head off it a bit more to let this anger out. It must be hard with internet restrictions.

Point me towards my ranting in this thread?

I asked Monkeybutt who he'd play young Blackford ahead of at the moment, which is a fair question. He answered Rodney because he's not a winger and I said I don't we actually play with wingers, very few teams do these days. He had a pop at me because I'm obviously not getting to matches so I had a bit of a one back I think we can both deal with that. I do think his opinion is possibly tainted as he's said the kid lives near him and he knows his family. Then Derwent posts a reply laden with insults which was overly personal and a bit bizarre seen as I've never met the bloke.

I'm happy not to post if that's what people want it's no skin off my nose really it's only a forum but I'm struggling with what the big deal about this thread is.

Your opening line is insulting to mr butt

“You do realise it’s northern league”

Course he fuckin does he got in his car n drove there

If that’s how you talk to people in your real life no wonder your on your own in dubai all day.

Try n talk to people a bit differently, if you can.

Then again I reckon if anyone else had went to this game n done this post you wouldn’t have started it that way.

He rates the Lad. Let him. Give him a break man.

And homemade corned beef pie and mushy peas.

Aye Burnicle was decent but similar to Fenwick, no 8 in midfield was also good, Boro scout was there.

TBF I agree PJ had/sn't ranted or tried to be inflamatory in this post. Maybe people's perception about other posters has an affect, personally, it is/was a well reasoned debate. (Apart from the classroom name calling  )

I’d like to join the TPJDNWE (think PJ did nothing wrong elite).

I generally agree with everything he’s said in this thread, I can see how some could see his opening line as being a bit aggressive or whatever, but not necessarily wrong, it is just the northern league after all.

And for what it’s worth, I think the majority of the time PJ makes a lot of good, well reasoned points, but he seems to be getting an awfully hard time since he moved away. I’d definitely read him arguing with everything over MB’s one liner threads.

It is just PaulL making the comment, if it was Paulm I would be upset.
