Someone has actually set a closed group up on Facebook, so the idiots can keep their stupidity among themselves, it's laughable.

Probably a good thing, they can keep it all to themselves and no one has to see all the bollox.

It's an open group chat on Facebook now. Anyway, while I completely disagree with the behaviour regarding songs and stickers from some supporters towards a supporters group - I'll never get my head around it, it's madness - those involved with the trust, be it the board or just members like me, need to be ready to take on the discussion regarding the pros and cons of the supporters Trust. No one involved deserves or should expect personal abuse, that is completely out of order of course, and I am aware that there are some supporters who will never be convinced for whatever reason, but the majority of Pools fans are normal, decent people who are open to sensible discussion. Those who believe in the value of and need for a trust should never lose sight of the majority of supporters whether they are members and/or supporters of the trust or not. With all due respect to posters on here, having a go at this group before the first thread has even been written isn't going to help.

Surely any person that has a problem with it should get in touch direct and ask and not set up a facebook group about it?

You can see from the first two posts by the person who set it up, it's just another page set up to create division among the fans. I hate The Bunker, I hate The Trust, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

If these people have so many issues why don't they just set up a meeting and go and say it face to face, instead of boring the rest of us to death saying the same things, over and over again. The Chairman Ronnie Harnish is in the Flag before every home game and will talk to anyone about it. Man up and go and speak to him instead of posting on Facebook where he wont even read it. If you don't agree with the current board then get off your arse and stand yourself.

Find all this absolutely incredible. How on earth can a football club Trust be anything other than a force for good? It is one member, one vote!!!. Are certain people unable to get their heads round this? Power is not concentrated in the hands of a few people. If certain people want their say then join the Trust and stand for the board. I have a young son who I would like to take to Pools games along with his grandad in years to come, but do I want to subject him to all this? Not so sure anymore.

It's mental, people are kicking up a fuss, making up shite songs and actually going through the effort of creating a sticker trying to destroy a Trust that can only be beneficial to fans. Yet when we had a conman running the club hardly anyone batted an eyelid.

I do love a battered eye lid, delicious if not that filling.

It's what we needed this time last year, stickers in bogs. If Coxall had seen that while he was having a piss things might be very different now.

Seriously what's the point. As has been explained, it is already very easy to contact the people involved with running the Trust. There is no need to set up yet another FB group, and there should be no expectation that such a group will get any response from the Trust. It just seems to be an excuse to type "Bunker trust" in hilarious fashion. I would guess that most people involved with the trust would consider such posts too childish to bother with.

Edit: Apparently there's also a secret Bunker/Trust page where things are discussed in private.

Howay then ye bastads where is it?

Think the Trust/Club President Jeff Stelling is at the game tonight.

Quite what he will make of it all is anyone's guess.

Make of the game or the toilet stickers?

On a slightly related point, have the Trust asked Jeff to get his bezzers off Football Saturday to come and do a Q&A type evening? Would be huge if they could be persuaded and they owe him a lot, he's kept them in work for the last 10+ years!
