I heard some anti trust chants again, but it again highlights how much of the minority’s it is. I think it was 2-3 lads max singing it, and from meeting them previously I know (unsurprising) that they are really not the brightest.

A bunch of lads sat infront of me in the Millhouse today were singing the anti trust song and telling each other how a particular bunker member would get them if they sing it again.

All very childish like. These are men too , well outwardly they are. All very baffling

I'm confused about the Trust hate.

For the record -

The first instigators of the trust were the Football Supporters' Federation, an independent organisation that represents ALL football fans.

The Trust is for all Hartlepool fans.

I know this has been done over but I'm struggling to see where the hate comes from.

I thank every member of the Trust even the ones I often disagree with for uniting for the benefit of the town.

Thanks to the other groups as well from HUDSA to FOHU.

I read that all the way through and still did not know why they were dead set against a Trust that MIGHT give the club breathing space to regroup and keep going should the worst happen.

I don't know Ron Harnish but they must really hate him.

Those 'people' are complete fabrication though. It was pretty clear when IOR's investment in the club ended and where 'IOR' just became Ken Hodcroft running the club as a self sustainable business until he could find literally anyone to take it off his hands. On the field we went backwards season after season as well. Supporters were bound to be frustrated but you are implying fans played a part in IOR leaving when that isn't the case at all. The Berge Larsen affair and changes in the industry saw an end the IOR's involvement in Pools.

Does anyone well else remember people calling 'IOR Out' every week? I certaintly don't. I can barely remember it being chanted (if ever) in the 18 years they owned the club never mind 'every week'. Yes frustrations were aired in forums etc as most people could see the way things were heading and Hodcroft never revealed what was actual going on hiding behind nonsense like financial fair play and VAT that meant we actually owed other clubs money when we sold our best players.

Are you suggesting it was the fans fault that ior pulled the plug and that they tried to sell to criminals or that they did sell to criminals?

I do agrwe though that some fans should be ashamed. Those that sucked up to coxall.

And by God there are quite a few of them. Now strangely quiet on that period though.

And I have heard rumours that coxall and Co currently have claims against pools in the hundreds of thousands.

But hey. Let's all attack the trust instead.

We are the only club in the country were the trust is seen as an evil entity.

Here's another little nugget for people to chew on.

Any money donated to pools at the moment may will be used to pay off monies owed to sage.

And it will never be enough to clear that debt.

But it might help ease the pain for sage WHEN they pull the plug.
