I think it was originally Motors, but changed , I presume due to cutting ties with the car plant. A bit like Dunston Fed Brewery is now Dunston UTS.

Solihull merged with Moor Green a few years ago. Hence Solihull Moors. Round the corner for me, and I can't remember the last time I saw us win, so 1-0 to the Moors. As it's in Solihull, I expect Prawn Sandwiches, and no chips or pies. It's a bit pretentious round there, and that's coming from me.

I see they have only won twice this season against Chester (worst team iv probably ever seen) and then against Torquay who also appear to be utter shite.

Presuming their new manager doesnt give them a lift then we really should be winning this game and will be nice to finally break into the top half!!

One defeat in 9 matches, and even in that defeat we were the better team.

Appalling game for the most part but we won and that's all most will remember.... First half was utter dross, we played at their level for the most part and didn't create much.... Fair play to Harrison for making the changes, it paid off straight away and we actually started playing some football for a while, Rodney forced a good Save, but then we started to sit back and let them back in, Loach the busier keeper and very glad we've got him.... Soft penalty, they then started timewasting at once only to get caught out when Franks swept home when long free kick into the box wasn't cleared. Loach MoM by some distance for me, Deverdics did all right, Magnay as well, forwards generally worked hard though Thorne needs to show more than he did if he wants to stay longer, he's got the physique but looked nothing different to what we've already got - may improve with game time but I prefer Rodney Oates Franks myself.....

It doesn't really matter how we're doing it but that's 20 points out of the last 27 available.

I think we're riding our luck a bit. I would like to see a proper convincing win, preferably with at least a 2 goal margin.

You only get three points however you do it!

I don't think we're a good side at all, but this League is awful and we can be as attritional as we like for me. I also think every win will breed a bit more confidence and better performances will hopefully come.

We only seem to play better when Harrison 'makes the changes'. So why doesn't he just start with the attacking mentality?

I don't think we can criticise Harrison too much at the moment, we've had a losing mentality for years and at the moment he seems to be turning that around.

Let other teams (especially part timers) tire themselves out against a well conditioned defensive outfit then get at them in the last 30 mins?

Don't underestimate that losing mentality and where the club was at the back end of last season and into the summer.

Can't argue with the points haul but it was pretty dire stuff today. I couldn't see the point in playing high balls up to a lone striker when they had two six foot six centre halves who won everything. Given that Rodney had the measure of his fullback with Franks causing problems on the other flank we played very few balls behind in the channels and went very narrow. Munns also made a difference when he came on for Hawkins. Harrison has a better game but man of the match was Loach which says it all really.

Pathetic post! Its all about results Teeth and we are doing just fine 20 out of 27 points. Someone always has to moan when we are getting very good results and slowly climbing to the top of this table. I give in because I do not understand the mentality of people like you who moan when we bloody win...

I don't think it's a pathetic post people are making valid points the performances haven't been great nor has much of the Football on show. We're grinding it out. It is was it is right now though personally I'll take substance over style at this level every day of the week.
