Has gone on a months loan to Morpeth in The Northern League- probably his right level ? As with many players we have had they leave us and often struggle elsewhere at s lower level.

Bar Jermaine Easter and a handful of others it's a downward spiral to the lower levels of non league once they've left.

Apart from

Toto
Laurent
Jake Carroll
Paddy Almond
Allassandra
Charlie Wyke
Luke James
Jack Baldwin
Sean Kavanagh
Christian Burgess
Jack Barmby
Adam Jackson
Scott Carson
Nathan Thomas

Everyone who comes to pools and then leaves... Goes to a lower level.

You could also include:

Bingham
Mirfin
Tishibola
Hugill
Woodman
That little 5ft 6 striker we got from Newcastle whose name escapes me. Think is at Notts County.

ps i have no idea who Liam Kennedy is??

He's writes for the Mail so he's clearly gone on to bigger and better things since Pools released him.

Nothing wrong with shotting a couple of names in to bulk your list up.

I mean just look at Wayne Rodgers, he went on to play for England after Pools and he looked no better at the time than Barry Smith.

If we had finished last season with the squad we started with I reckon we'd have finished mid table.

He didn't look out of place against York for Spenny the other week. Suspect he is second in line to Foley though so probably hasn't played much for them

Me too.

I just don't understand the inclusion of players we had on loan in some of those lists. Yeah, they played for Pools for a bit, but they were never 'our' players. At the end of their loan spells they went back to their parent clubs.

Just a bit tongue in cheek from me there, just to prove we have had good players recently, especially on loan, we've just made no attempt to try and sign any of them.

I dare say we have had more players (not loanees) leave us for better things in these past 4/5 years than most other periods in our history.

I counted at least 5 players who have left this year in the starting line up of League One and Two teams last night.

We have had decent players, the problem has been that we cant keep hold of them.

This is true

Allesandra has featured in every game for Notts County, started the past 6 games or so once they stopped picking Ameobi, scored a few, and they are top of the league.

And Brad Walker has started every game for Crewe, either at the back or in midfield.

It boils my piss that we can't seem to get the best out of these players.

Some people would have you believe toto is the worst centre half ever to have graced the Vic in a pools shirt, including very own nick loughlin. It's not surprise that they go onto better things and also shows why players want to get out, does nothing for career being here

They're firmly on the summit four points clear of Wigan with a record of 8-2-0.

Toto was branded a liability after playing for Pools for a whole two minutes. People were booing him after three minutes. I think the reality was he didn't settle in area or more importantly his girlfriend didn't and wanted to leave as quickly as she got here. A Jack Ross situation if you like. Mind that's no excuse for that chancer Coxall virtually giving him away in his desperate firesale to pay the bills though, I'd put my house on us not having a sell on clause either.

Is loughlin a mate of yours? Otherwise why else would you say this pj? It wasn't just him though, I seem to remember the pa in ground mentioning how he was sent off on his debut over the tannoy. No idea why an ex player was mentioned tbf but he's I suppose doing much better now and probably happier there.
