we've lost to Dover, Fylde, Maidenhead, Bromley and now Eastleigh, all semi pro teams who we've never played before, and obviously underestimated, but have results against the likes of Dagenham, Orient, Wrexham, Macclesfield, Chester and Maidstone, teams we've played countless times before,........ what's that all about then? sctatchinghead

I was shocked that Eastleigh are part time given the coin they have been throwing around over the years, the team they fielded today was full of 'football league' players, I'm pretty sure Dover and Flyde are full time set ups though.

I don't think it's a case of us taking teams lightly, we aren't good enough to do that maybe it's then raising their game against us?

Maybe we are just an inconsistent team, been a huge problem for years coupled on with weak squads.

Without Watson defence looks shaky and we still don't have an out and out striker

I think it is more to do with who has been playing centre half to be honest.

We don't look like a team that will score a lot of goals, so whenever we have shipped soft ones we have tended to get beat. Donnelly and Laing were not especially bad today, but they are not as good a pairing as Ledger and Watson.

Totally agree

Laing is disappointingly weak in the challenge, & plays too many aimless punts upfield when he has other opportunities available

It's helps immensely, helps me to realise that your contributions are totally worthless.

It does however bother me that the players who are capable in central defence are all on loan.
