..bringing less than 50 supporters tomorrow (and that's all they WILL bring), could have been an ideal game to open the Rink End again for Home Fans. Just a thought...

Could anyone involved in the Trust raise this with Pam? It would be great to hear some noise from the Rink End from our fans. Only takes 20 away fans in there to sing to sound loud so 100 Pools would make a difference to the atmosphere and may even get the Town End to sing again.
Only issue I can think of is that it would make other areas of the ground look a bit sparse but who cares. Segragation isn't a problem as plenty of other teams have fans in the same stand.

It would be very weird being in there with seats. I think we should re-open it as a proper '70s end with a closed back, bog roll throwing and regular fighting with the police. Could charge elderly hooligans from around the country a fortune for tickets that include a try at 'taking it'.

It's all about the match day experience nowadays - sort it out Pam. Silk scarves and bangers for night matches would also sell well.

MOST of it's not crap, at all. And the noise coming from it would make up for the three or four seats in there that you cant get a view from.

If they put the rust back in the Rink End roof I'll be back to England in a jiffy.

Sounds like a music hall smash hit that - "Put the rust back in the Rink End roof (and I'll be back to Blighty!"

Someone with musical talent could write the whole song out. Make it rhyme whith 'shitey', 'whitey', 'fighty', 'mighty' etc.

But for one verse keep jiffy so you can rhyme with whiffy.

Would be an ideal song for my music hall revival band Arfur Braincell and his One Stringed Banjo

It would be good to have our fans behind both goals, we could put the away fans in the family encloseure end of the Cyril stand for the amount who come here.

I'm with Mr Chip on this one. from the halfway line you get a good view throughout the game.

Aye. I'm only in the Town End because of the boy. Fucking terrible view of anything not in my half. Deliberately took him in the Millhouse for a friendly a season or two back trying to convince him it was the way forward. Failed.

Just watched a few highlights from when the rink end was for home fans and you are indeed correct that the noise level from that end was simply amazing every single game even though we had crowds of less than 2000 at times clappp. Seats or not its a fantastic idea and would massively improve volume levels at the Vic which can only be a good thing. I also watched a few highlights from league two and even though we had 3000/4000 crowds the few in the rink end could easily be heard. I also watched a few sell out games and again the rink end 900 or so are much louder than the 7000 ish home crowd. Elvis its a no brainer really and needs changing asap and Hartleblue is spot on with his idea of having no away fans (very small numbers) behind either goal. Maybe Pam can invest in a old double Decker bus to put in the corner near the offices it would never be full and would have ample room for a on board mini kiosk service.... bbolt

I doubt it would be the people that go in the Town End that went in the Rink End surely it would be the people who sing in that end of the Millhouse.

Oh I see. So the rink end will be an area where you are expected to sing along with certain songs at certain times, and you will be called derogatory names by the leaders if you dont?

Well thats what happens at away games innit?
