Excellent from 40 minutes onwards. Controlled the game brilliantly, must have been a sickener for BT who were willing Orient forward.

First time I've watched pools on tv abroad! I enjoyed it from 40 min onwards as the handful of others watching it were taking the piss a bit! They only had one ball over the top to bonne then once we snuffed that out it was a very professional performance, at last we have a side who look difficult to beat! Fingers crossed Watson is OK,be a major blow to lose him,he's absolutely quality! Back to enjoy the pefkos sunshine I suppose!!

The bias was embarrassing.

The bias makes the victory even sweeter.

Thought it was funny when the cameras were watching the american multi millionaire owner and the commentator said he had a pact with his wife that he could spend 100 days a year in london, he then wanders over and starts cracking on to the women's football team. Hope the Mrs was watching!!

Pools started the game looking like a home side keen to win. Orient then took over and after scoring could easily have had two more. Franks' finish was superb. It would have been so easy to balloon it over the bar but his control was top class. To take the lead just after the break was a real bonus. My fear at half time was that if it remained level towards the end, a push for a winner could lead to a counter attack goal from Orient's pacey attack. However Pools controlled the second half and played with a confidence that can take us into a playoff spot in no time if replicated in future games. We do however need another striker. With our current lineup, goal difference will not be an asset.

I may be wrong but I think 8 of the 11 teams we have played are above us which ain't bad. Tight, tight league.

I said before the Dagenham game that I wouldn't be particularly bothered if we didn't pick up many points from the next three as long as we were competitive and continued to show signs of progress. On paper we had beaten two poor sides in Guiseley and Maidstone and outplayed another poor one (Chester) without winning. The three games against the early leaders and two other pacesetters were games that you can lose in any given season, even if you're playing well. Needless to say I am more than chuffed. The season has started. Just please keep up the intensity and don't blow the good work in the next few games.

You say that about Maidstone, and I agree they were diabolical, but they are 7th

Deliberate to stop a goal is red. I thought the one given against Deverdics was a joke.
