In 2nd qualifying round of the cup on September 16th. I have a feeling we will play one of these two in round 4.

Is that when we enter the competition?

Plenty of interesting games tonight at the level below us Spennymoor hosting York in a League game, the visitors won 4-2 but Spennymoor got it back to 3-2 from 3-0 down in the first half. Harrogate who were top lost at home to Salford, Blyth won at FC United and Darlo who haven't won since the first week of the season lost 4-1 at Chorley FM, coming in your ears.

Decent league that, in terms of local rivalry, Darlo seem to have hit a brick wall. Think they need to up the ante in terms of personnel , maybe they have come too far too soon, and haven't had the time to get the money together to be able to go for promotion in this league. Good result for York, reckon Spenny will bottom out as season progresses. Blyth unlike the Darlo and Spenny are used to this level and will be there or thereabouts, like Gateshead in our league, they are solid club at that level. Harrogate good set up, affluent town, could imagine them in football league in near future if sugar daddy stays close.

Sunderland RCA won at Liversedge in FA Cup, so play Scarborough Athletic away in round 2.

Harrogate started strongly last year too, went unbeaten in their first 10 or 11 games and then it all went to pieces - I think they went pro this season though, so maybe they'll be able to sustain a proper push for the playoffs rather than slipping to mid-table mediocrity.

think there is silly money being thrown around in that league and harrogate being one of em. brackley top of the league with attendances under 500 and sometimes not much more than 200. plenty of forest green and fyldes around in non league.

Got the 3G as well. A solid club and team, in a good area for attracting players as well.

Went to the Spennymoor game last night. Although York won 4-2, Spenny were the better side. Could've had 6 or 7 goals second half if they were more clinical. Played some really nice football. It was less hoofball than most Pools games this season. Would be more surprised to see York up the top end than Spenny on that showing.
