Just bought a copy of the Guardian today for the first time in ages.
What a good read it is.
What is your favourite publication and what do you think some of the others who contribute to this board read?

The Guardian is for left wing Yuppies, who are actually Tories with a conscience.
I always thought the Beano was a decent read or so me Ma said, cos it kept me quiet !!!

I think the Morning Star was once called the Socialist Worker but they found out the people who read it did not work so they had to change its name.

Different papers marra ! Morning Star has been in operation since 1966, previously called The Daily Worker. Not sure if the SWP newspaper still exists, don't think it does, if it does it could be now called Socialist Appeal.

I completely agree, they have some fantastic investigative journalists employed there.

If it wasn't for the echo sounding out Coxall's true intentions, who knows where we would be

I enjoy "The Spectator", particularly the "Reader's Wives" section. In answer to your second question I would imagine the"Beano" and "Viz" figure strongly, judging by the intellectual level of the submissions.....

The Valliant comic circa 1964 with Legge's Eleven the great football team to grace the planet next to Pools. Ted Legge reincarnated as Peter Crouch but not as good.

The "Spectator" is the publication read by the Metropolitan Intellectual Elite which is known by all us Plebs as "Dogging Weekly"

They used to say, "Eat shit, 80 million flies can't be wrong" but I think they underestimated how many flies there actually were......
