At last, a chance to settle the car number plate controversy.

Season long loan.

That's a very strange interweb device you've got there Mr Charco - sufficient to ask questions on the Bunker but not for anything else it seems.

Clue: take a look at the OS.

Isn't it? But don't you find that generally the best way to deal with pub bores is to ignore them? They go away eventually.

He claims other people don't have a sense of humour or are in some sort of rage because they don't laugh along with quite frankly the most unfunny, ignorant, oafish patter ever seen on the Internet.

It's everyone else who doesn't get it.

Just been shown a photo of him.

There was surely no need to give the poor bugger two black eyes to force him to play for us?

He's got some first team experience playing 13 games in the Norwegian top division for Viking Stavanger last season which is encouraging, he looks a big lad as well.

yeah , he's a good player. that's why Scunthorpe, Rochdale, Bradford or Carlisle didn't fancy him. Probably no better than Kenton Richardson, but hey yo, lets see how it goes.

Read one thread and there it is!

So he can't be any good because we signed him.

That's great logic that one.

I reckon you're probably a cracking bloke Horden and good company to have a pint with and talk Pools but I don't know why you feel the need to post stuff like that, you must only do it to get a reaction. It's a bit sad to be honest.

You are always right I suppose so we can right this lad off. Have you checked his height on Wikipedia is that how you know he's no good!?

You are the stats man PJ. I'm not always right , just most times. Process of elimination . He may be good, I hope he is, but it seems unlikely, given that he is here at end of August and not at a higher div club. Its a matter of opinion, its what I believe makes the world go around. No need to harangue or bully people who have a different view. If it offends you I will happily stop posting. It was you I seem to remember who posted that you missed posters like myself you gave a different point of view. I read that and thought it was a nice touch and decided to give the bunker another go. If the truth hurts that much I can easily go back to where I came from. To be honest I'm finding this pretty tedious as well.

Who is 'harragning and bullying you?'

You have not seen the lad play, you are basing your entire view that he won't be very good on the fact he's signed for us!? Ha ha.

Come on you're better than that it's ridiculous, as claiming to be right all of the time. That's cringeworthy. If you take your standpoint on Pools players then most times you will be 'right' especially in recent history. Nobody is saying the opposite though, that he is a World beater and this and that because they can't most people just wait to see him play for two or three minutes first before decideding he is dogshit.

I never said I was right all of the time. I do get cyber bullied, not off you, but others. On another post people are writing Fenwick off, based on what? based on the same process I use to write players off, if I had said it , all hell would of broken loose. I just don't see the point of signing a Sunderland u21 player, who is probably no better than Kenton Richardson.

Ancoats used to be the spiritual industrial heart of Manchester, shame its become like every other inner city community, heart ripped out of it and gentrified, such is life.

Players do slip under the radar. Sunderland do tend to hang onto young players a season a two too long imo. Nelson the player we had last season is still there I believe, wonder why we never went for him?. I hope you're right about Ledger Chip.

It's totally possible that someone not good enough to play in the Championship/L1/L2 is more than capable of playing in the Conference. What's the point in signing anyone based on this logic? If they were any good Chelsea would have signed them.

And doesn't Richardson play right back? What has Richardson''s ability at right back got to do with Ledger playing centre back? Let's not pretend Magnay can play centre back, because he's been totally useless every game I've seen him there, whereas he is a top class right back at this level. I've also seen Richardson in abut 4 games, and he has performed differently in each of them. It is way too soon to be touting him as the next big thing at full back, never mind moving an experienced professional out of his position to accommodate him.

I know absolutely nothing about Ledger, and I look forward to finding out more on Saturday.

Ever thought about a career in politics Phil?

My logic is , if you want to get out of the Conference , you sign players good enough to play in lge 1 or 2

People are writing Fenwick off because they have seen him play quite a lot and don't think he's up to it.

How can you say he is probably no better than Kenton Richardson!? He plays in a different position for a start. Are you basing that purely on age? It's all a daft this!

I would think most think he is isn't up to it , but a quarter or a third think he is. I'm with the majority on this one.

I think most would take the sensible stance of watching him play first before going either way.

I'm talking about Fenwick now, not Ledger PJ. Now Ledger has signed I agree, give the lad a chance, lets see what he has to offer. I'm old enough to remember us giving second chances to the likes of Paul Dobson and Bri Honour, who were playing northern league and they did okay for us, so I know miracles do happen, Its just the law of probability I generally go by.

My apologies.

Take Brian Honour though, he had a heart and was a trier but above all and why he ended up being a good player in that second chance was because technically he was a good footballer. He had a first touch and ability and a bit of vision. Fenwick's basics just aren't there for me as hard as he's tries.

My logic is , if you want to get out of the Conference , you sign players good enough to play in lge 1 or 2
I notice you used a wink face, therefore that must be a joke.

I think we all want us to sign the very best players available. None of us can say why Ledger wasn't signed for a League 1 team, but if our scouts are saying him and Watson are the best people to take our team forward then I'll assume they know more about him than I do.
Ha ! you noticed ! getting the hang of this smiley face mullarkey.

Yeah ! you would think so wouldn't you, but after last 6 or 7 seasons I sometimes wonder

yeah , he's a good player. that's why Scunthorpe, Rochdale, Bradford or Carlisle didn't fancy him. Probably no better than Kenton Richardson, but hey yo, lets see how it goes.

Iv just managed two days without visiting this place because it's utter shite reading your constant digs in every thread.

Read one thread and there it is!

So he can't be any good because we signed him.

That's great logic that one.
