My prediction is that the first ball will leave the ground after 9 minute courtesy of Scott Harrison. In total 4 will leave the ground during the course of the match.

What is the record of the number of lost balls during a match?

What is the cost of a ball? Is this the real reason for the financial problems of the club?

I remember Di Lella just booting the ball as high as possible when we were hanging on against Scarborough I think.

Went out of sight for ages

Didn't the ball in a match at the Vic go all the way to Newcastle donkeys years ago? Apparently it got booted out over the low part of the Clarence Road terraces and into a coal truck of a passing train over the wall on Clarence Road. Dunno whether we got the ball back. Maybe Horden or Chip has heard this story before and can add or dismiss it?

I remember doing a cartoon regarding Nobbsy's clearance in the Monkey Business ..... Mine involved air traffic control.

I recorded the first one at 29 seconds although technically the ball was not in play as a free kick had been awarded.
It was 29 minutes for the first one then another late in the game.
So only 2 really went over the stands so that is a tribute to the two managers and the highly technical level of football they are aspiring to. Well done chaps!
