What is a contract worth these days?

I hope he does not get paid. He should be fined!

Not tried a leg all season. He can fuck off and train on his own.

Fine him as much as possible, make him train by himself then sell him.

So we've got players refusing to play, Franks' missus slagging the fans off before he's kicked a ball in anger, Blair Adams having a go at fans telling them to "get behind the fucking team", a manager who doesn't have a settled starting team or formation and players who are making mistake after mistake.

All this and we still keep turning up week after week. I genuinely think we're the most mental fans in the football league.

What a shame you can't sack players.

Sad thing is that this is nowhere near the biggest disappointment from today. If he doesn't want to be here let's get a fee and buy a proper conference centre half and striker.

Bigger problems at the club than Amond being a c***

A bit of balance, he definitely has been trying this season he was chasing to fish balls out of the town end that Donaldson hadn't bothered give back to their keeper.

He came to Pools from this league and has shown he is good enough to play in the football league.

His Mrs is in Manchester, anyone would want to leave for more money to operate to a higher standard and live closer to family.

He has told Pools he wants to leave and they wont let him, fair enough he could go about it in a better way but you can hardly blame him for wanting to leave.

The old saying " You buy cheap, you pay twice " and that's what the next manager is going to have to do. Unfortunately with not a pot to p*ss in , the new manager will probably do exactly the same thing. FFS! What a club !

Piss poor behaviour from amond and guarantees his departure.

As for not going, well you just fucking carry on not going and see where that leaves us. Fucking fickle. No doubt we'll see you again when we're on a winning streak.

Adams is right. Can anyone tell me the last time they felt motivated to work harder and/or had their confidence boosted by being constantly told you're shit?

That's bollocks shilts, the players have to earn it. The fans won't have been having a go from the beginning, they will have got on their backs when they saw yet another clueless pea hearted performance from lads out there being (over)paid to do a job we'd all give anything to do.

The non league Diego Costa. He shall be now known as Diego Laybygreasyspooncoffee.

Who knows what's gone on? He may well have been made promises by the club, we only know what's reported and Pools don't generally air their dirty laundry.
There's not one player in the team we'd miss and Amond is no exception. He should be fined every week he refuses to work and kept until his value is met.

I know what's gone on, he wanted out in the summer and no one came in for him. He's finding it difficult so he's having a little cry whilst earning an executive salary.

Well suck it up you fucking fanny. Think he's Coutinho cause he scored a few goals a couple of years back.

Fickle ? I've been going since 1971 , and probably only missed around 15 home games , when I've lived here in all that time. If I had only went when we were on a winning streak , I would of only seen around 100 games in 45 years.

I think it's just as likely he was told we'd be bringing in quality players and pushing to bounce back straight away. Then he's seen our defense is made up of pub team players and wants out.

If he had been banging goals in he wouldn't be declaring himself unavailable to try force a transfer, he'd be letting his football do the talking. It says a lot about his performances so far this season that he thinks his prospects of getting a move will be helped by not playing.

To any player who wants a move, roll your sleeves up, have the respect to do the job you're paid to do and show why you should be playing at a higher level!

Think what you like, I disagree. Look at the donny game last season, it was fucking outstanding by the fans and the players were inspired by it. I don't for one minute defend players who pull out of 50 50s and all that shit or are clearly coasting through games, they warrant a bollocking but if they are doing their best and just isn't good enough you encourage the fuckers until you can replace them.

And the posts about not going again are fucking embarrassing.

Off the pitch we finally have something positive going on but it just isn't happening for us on the pitch for a few reasons and so we read on here that the club is in turmoil. It really fucking isn't.

We've played 5 games

As a chairman of another club would you be put off by a player striking? I know I would.

As has been pointed out though, we don't know all the details. Careful what you say...

I agree but at the same time part-time teams are outplaying us, outmuscling us, outfighting us just about doing us in every single department expcept
making basic mistakes and wondering why things aren't going our way. The fans have every right to be pissed off and majorly pissed off at that

So the fans are to blame for the team doing badly shilts?

Yes the fans can lift the team, but at the same time the team are being paid to perform.

Really what are these positives going on? The only positive thing I can see is there is nothing bad going on ,unlike the last few years. We have a new badge, strip , the club shop is open longer, fans panel, talking to the trust, nothing special really, just normal run of the mill stuff that takes place at most football clubs.

Losing Thomas, Carson, Walker, Alessandra & Amond, even Paynter...

It's not good is it? We have a piss poor squad of free transfers and we can't find a win in the fucking conference. We have a manager who doesn't know his teams best formation or even which players sohuld be playing where. We barely have any defenders.

Any player we had who had a bit of skill, quality or who could take control of the game has been sold and we're left with this shite.

We've got Munns, Deverdics and Amond, who in their respective last seasons in the conference got about 70 goals between them.

If a manager can't get those three working then should he be in a job?

No it's absolutely fuck all to do with the fans, it is entirely down to the players and management, however we as fans can be the twelfth man and all that cliched bollocks. Grounds aren't intimidating for visiting teams because they give their own players dogs abuse are they?

Nothing to do with pay either. It's in their own interests to perform better, secure moves to clubs with bigger budgets and earn more. Some just aren't capable. They play in the division they do for a reason and that we perhaps don't have any other options because the contract they are on or there's no one better

It's hard to get excited at games when you're getting pumped by teams a lot of fans had never heard of before this season.

I fucking give up. It's been a long fucking day and it hasn't finished yet.

You're all correct. Let's all stop going, sack the manager, replace all the players and if anyone does go, make sure the players get both barrels for every errant ball. That has to be a recipe for success

As I was saying last week, if he wants out ( and his performances suggest he clearly does ) and another club are daft enough to take him, then let him fuck off. He has one goal from open play in his last 15 games and clearly thinks he can get one last decent payday on the back of one good season at Grimsby.

Better off getting another striker in like Cassidy that is at least prepared to graft, because that is what's needed in this league.

Cassidy sounded as though he was working himself today like, which isn't good when you're the only real striker on the pitch, and the only striker on the bench is Rodney. Was just saying to the old man this afternoon about the lack of character in our team . Even players of the past such as Ian Clark and Darren Knowles , who had their limitations , but had some character and guts , would of done a better job out there today than that collection of misfits.

I'm fucking gutted and embarrassed at what's going on as well as fucked off. I've blown the thick end of £150 today to watch us play, in the main, shite. Again. But I am not going to tell the players they're all fucking shite every 2 minutes because it really isn't going to change anything, well not for the better anyway

Get over yourself you tart.

You are pissed off and rightly so.

But don't be having digs at fellow fans on the bunker.

If I was that angry I would have hoyed a brick through the team coach window.

Hem and the manager deserve your angst. Not people on here.

What was Magnay et al says by to the fans after the game?

They, well mainly magnay, came over to us and was met with a chorus of 'you're shit' to which he replied 'you're right', I wanted to stay and listen in but had to run for the train. I did see him shake hands with some fans as I walked out though. Also saw franks talking to fans too

You're all correct. Let's all stop going, sack the manager, replace all the players and if anyone does go, make sure the players get both barrels for every errant ball. That has to be a recipe for success

Get over yourself you tart.

You are pissed off and rightly so.

But don't be having digs at fellow fans on the bunker.

If I was that angry I would have hoyed a brick through the team coach window.

Hem and the manager deserve your angst. Not people on here.

My fellow pools fans ire adds to the downward spiral mr colonel

He had the close season to do that. I don't think its that at all, I think the spirit in the dressing room is okay, its just as a unit on the pitch they just don't click. Mostly down to the fact the midfield are weak physically and mentally, don't win tackles, rarely win headers and heads drop when things not going their way.

If I was a player, I'd be delighted if Amond walked out. He wasn't exactly doing much, was he? It was amazing how arsed he became when we had a penalty.

He has attitude has been dreadful.

He'll love it on Newport's pitch, he better get used to aerial battles.

Delighted if he walked out? The best striker we've had in years and we're happy if he just walks out? Those players would be happy? Why am I not surprised. Maybe we should look at the absolute shite he's having to play alongside for why his performance and attitude has dropped. Until last week we've been playing the poor bastard up front by himself. What more could he have done when Louis fucking Laing is clipping 50 yard balls to him up against the statue of fucking liberty. The man scored 14 goals for the second worst starting 11 I've ever seen in a pools shirt, and we want him to do even better playing alongside the worst?

100% agree Pirlo, but at the end of the day, making himself unavailable to play is disrespectful to the club & the fans. "Unavailable" can encompass a myriad of reasons, some of which such as family illness would be perfectly valid, but everything so far suggests that it's toys out of the pram. If he is on strike (however that is covered in player's contracts), surely the club are entitled to withhold his wages. And what use has his agent been to him in all this?

Agreed, its poor form by him to force a move and the only certainty is the situation is going to cost the club financially as we're in a weaker position to demand a larger transfer fee, but we can't just let him rot in the reserves as some jokers want given our defence is pan shite and the obvious debt situation.

Can understand why people get annoyed when a player breaches his contract "I couldn't walk out my job just because I thought the gaffas a twat. And he is" says Terry, 52, but at the end of the day you can't equate footballers and the power they and their agents have with a standard job. I'm disrespected a million times more by lack of effort from some of those players and Blair Adams' comments than this.
