What's worse than waking up at a party and finding a penis drawn on your face? Finding out it was traced.

Going to my first pools game, then spending the next 27 years going through endless pain as the battled against mediocrity... Having one period of hope, giving a false impression of a bright future only to have it ripped away from you.

Some kind of a metaphor for life in general actually. Just cheer up and "get to grips with the ups and downs cos' there's nothing in between".

I've just had the following reply to this thread by E Mail from someone called Julie in Southport which I have been asked to submit;

"I wish I'd never never agreed to meet that creepy man who said he was the same age as me when I had that CB radio when I was 15. He barely touched his warm milk and he stole our last tenner off the mantle piece. We were evicted and homeless shortly after and I have been in out of therapy for most of my adult life. I will die alone and childless as I could never trust another man after that"
