When one lad actually got up and retrieved a ball last night I nearly started a round of applause.

Sort it out Pam!/Jeff!/the bloke Jeff mentioned in his column last night who has only recently got involved but appears to be Pam's boss!

Tell them to leave their phones with the club whilst the game is on. Like the players and the officials they are an integral part of the proceedings, albeit to a lesser degree, and need to concentrate on the job in hand.

It was clearly Harrison who played the back pass - you can see in the highlights.

Quite what he was doing out of his technical area I'll never know. Didn't know that was allowed.

Might be a petty comment but what are the point in our "ball boys" Sat in two's about 15 yards apart on their phones and then don't actually retrieve the ball when it's near them. I know I sound like a right old man saying this kind of shit but in some situations it does help to actually get the ball back fairly quickly.

Not petty at all Joe, quite sensible actually. Ball Boys can slow down or speed up play. We are in the crafty real mans league now, where people utilise ball boys, water pitches or let the grass go long.

To add to this, why? when a team is clearly play acting ,and wasting time , when a play go down supposedly injured my ass, towards end of game, why should you give the ball back? answers on a postcard.

So we're all agreed it was Bishop's dad who fucked up the backpass? He can get a bit sloppy if he doesn't get his chicken and chips.

Dont worry, our passing game will be well suited to Bromley's 3G pitch.

It doesn't really, they are really slow generally and don't suit passing Football. Teams who play on them are normally direct.

Sorry PJ but zipping passes to feet on a 3G surface is a dream for a footballers footballer. Much better than on a grass pitch
