We are a big sponsor of Blyth Spartans and heard from them yesterday that a friendly with Pools has just about been confirmed at Blyth.

Would be a good test as they won their league with ease and have some good players (one or two we should have a look at). Not a bad pitch either for their league.

Brilliant and yes a decent pitch. Well worth attending.

We often play Blyth pre-season and it is always a good test, usually very feisty, which given our new status as a Non League club, would be ideal, test the toughness out of our new players.

Usually get to Croft Park a couple of times a season, and the facilities , support and way the club is run is impressive. Always impressed by Robbie Dale , who makes it look easy at that level.

Always liked Blyth and hope they do well this coming season, I'm sure they will consolidate at least.
