If it's going to be extended (which was common sense it had to be) then surely it should have been until the beginning of August to factor in another pay day?

As for the deadline being early August....I think that could've created a problem with getting the tickets/cards/whatever they're going to be this season out in time for the first game as I think the Conference starts a week before the EFL doesn't it?

Deadline should be a week before the season starts.

Surely they could just issue a ticket for the first home game, it's what happened last year when we were 'waiting for the new turnstiles' It's easily solved. I want us to sell as many as possible at the end of day and having a cut off in the middle of the month surely isn't maximising revenue?

If nothing else it will give fans who do not want to commit (to buying a season ticket) another 5 weeks (from tomorrow) to see what signings are made and I thing there are a few doing that?
