... that somebody is in serious talks to buy Pools and it might all be done in the next couple of weeks? I don't know any more than that and don't want to get anybody's hopes up but it didn't come from an unreliable source.

The other board was talking about IOR and Hodcroft getting involved with the club again, don't know how reliable the source is though.

Can't see that. N probably wouldn't want that given his last 7 years here. Granted he didn't take us down like coxall but we weren't far off.

I think had they stayed the conclusion would of been the same. IOR laid the foundations for what eventually happened anyway.

HUFC is rotting away, and there will be other vultures out there, we shouldn't presume that just because people are interested . its necessarily a good thing. I seem to remember lots of interest in Darlo after Reynolds, but one bad owner followed another, and we know how that ended up. It shouldn't be just a case of anybody but Coxhall , we want ambitious , respectable , owners not more conmen or women.

IOR and Uncle Ken?

Seriously?

Call me cynical but a bloke gave away a football club - wrote off £14 miilion in debt and a couple of years later is back - to buy it even though it is £1.2 million in debt.....

Seems like a barking mad decision to hand a business over for free then buy it back.

is Ken Trigger from Only fools and horses?

Anyone else fancy the job?

Turn up at a club the other end of the country.
Talk the talk for a while but don't do any actual walking.
With the help of tame journos and stupid people, stick to the story that everything is fine.
Clear off after 18 months having trousered half a million.

Ken Hodcroft has some serious question to answer over the handover to JPNG.

Pam said at the Trust Meeting that there were several interested parties she was speaking to that wanted to buy the club.

Given Coxall and Fisher are both desperate to sell I would not be shocked, though the impression she gave was that she wanted multiple investors, including The Trust.

I also got the impression investors wanted evidence Coxall was definitely gone before putting money in. They now have that.

Just how is Coxall, a 50% owner, plus his pet pony Fisher (25%), definitely gone now?

Much as Pam Duxbury gave a credible performance at the Trust meeting, lets not forget that her overwhelming number one priority is to get her's and Sages money back.

Maybe at the end he did yeah but the bloke was safe hands for not 18 months, 18 years.

If this is true and he has Berge Larsen back on board then I am very very happy. Maybe he feels partly responsible and wants to right a wrong but if he does want to return one thing is clear, he cares about the club.

I think we're still in the quicksand, it's just we've stopped sinking and some people think it's ok now, it isn't.
The season ticket money is still in the bank........ and going nowhere for the foreseeable future.

It's a ladder company and we are going to climb up the league.

Piece of article from BBC wales sport

Ex-The New Saints boss Craig Harrison says he is looking forward to a new challenge as Hartlepool United manager.

Gateshead-born Harrison has taken charge of Hartlepool following their relegation to the National League.

The 39-year-old left Saints after winning a sixth consecutive Welsh Premier League title.

"I've had great times at TNS and really enjoyed every minute of it but I just feel it was the right opportunity," Harrison told BBC Wales Sport.

"The opportunity arose and I thought it was the right time to go and have a fresh challenge somewhere else.

"Everything just fits - the geographic location, facilities, (the) ambition of the club with new owners and new investors and the big fan base.

"I'm an ambitious person, driven on through having a shorter football career than what I should have had."
