I didn't find that any more edifying or informative than Paxman shouting at Corbyn for 15 minutes the other night.

Pretending that there's a simple solution to the increased threat from Islamic terrorists isn't smart either. The issue of arming the police -all police - seems more to the point than simply having loads more Plod. Friday night showed again that unarmed police who try to tackle terrorists become casualties themselves.

On the other hand, if every policeman (and woman) is carrying a gun that's entrusting an awful lot of people with the means to make life or death decisions on the spot. How much training and psychological profiling would that require? And how many unfortunate 'errors of judgement' like the manslaughter of Jean Charles de Menezes would still occur?

Has anyone seen the interview with Dianne Abbott on sky News tonight doing the rounds? To think the one above has quite rightly been put on here for ineptitude the Abbott one is on another level.

The sad fact is, however much people on here want think Corbyn is great the overall quality of politicians of any hue at the moment is utterly appalling. The sad fact is for all the reasons above by Chip and many others already stated, a credible opposition would have every chance of smashing the Tories deservedly out on Thursday. The fact it probably won't happen says a lot unless we get the massive young turn out needed in the progressive alliance

The young people are starting to get on my nerves now though.

They all need to vote, as its theIR future at stake.

But it was with regards to brexit too. And a lot didnt bother.

Our country is completely fucked up.

There was a QA session last night from Scotland with Tim Farron and Nicola Sturgeon.

One of the questions was about Brexit, from a mad looking scottish woman.

Her question to Farron was something like, will you ensure we get brexit, if you became PM.

Does it matter just now? Really? In the current climate, does it remotely sound like a good idea?

Yet it still tops a lot of folks agenda.

It is becoming increasingly agreed by most experts that any deal will be bad for the people of the UK. Regardless of political position.

Yet on we go. Off on a course we, apparently, cant stop when for all the world its looking a more stupid move by the minute.

But a lot of folk dont seem to care. They just want it. Whatever the fu ck it is.

What I dont get is this. Why is this an unstoppable course?

If after 6 months of negotiations, it is quite obvious, brexit will completely fu ck our economy, why cant anyone show some real leadership, and say, enough is enough, we are stopping this stupidity.

Is it beyond the wit of man to do it? Cant any politician actually not say, breixt is happening and we need to get on with it.

Tim Farron is the only one saying anything remotely like that with his 2nd referendum pledge, ironically last night they insinuated this policy is making Lib Dems less popular.

But even he is just suggesting having a poll on the outcome.

Not actually saying this is bloody stupid let's just stop it now.

Went to the Corbyn rally last night, got soaked to the skin, but was worth it. Around 5000 there, but not a dicky bird on TV, even the local news.

Clearly the Media have closed ranks this week, and decided not to show anything that would show Corbyn in a good light and influence peoples voting intentions ,that's what we are up against.

And I have bought that Tory rag the Northern Echo for the last time. Went to buy it yesterday, but front page was more or less demanding that people voted Conservative, with a picture of May underneath the headline. Now I know Newspapers are generally biased towards the Tories, but this was blatant. No doubt Lord Hague had been on the phone to the Editor. So I put it back on the shelf, never again.

It was on the BBC NE news after the 10 o'clock news last night and again this morning on Sky - with the comment that the crowd for Corbyn was so big part of it had to go on an adjacent 'field.' It did look like a hell of a turnout for his first trip to the NE all election (he was asked about that in an interview).

Didn't have the BBC on this morning but I'd be surprised if it wasn't on there again.

I did see it last night, but wasn't on long. I would say between 5000-7500
