Since Cardiff !

Normally I would say " were did the time go " etc etc, but it seems longer to me. Maybe because 6 or 7 years of that 12 have been akin to pulling out your own teeth

Only 6 or 7? Let's see, there was one unbeatable season. There were runs of about five decent matches under two or three managers. There was Jeff Stelling's James Brown doll.

I'm struggling.

When the great escape is one of the main highlights, you know things can only get better. You gotta believe. Uh, right?

How many clubs reach the edge of bigger things then go through a period of collapse?

Leeds - champions league semis to league 1.

Portsmouth - fa cup winners to the verge of extinction.

Blackpool - premier league to league 2.

Hartlepool 8 minutes from the championship..

Maybe this is our time to return like a phoenix from the flames.

Leeds - won 1st div title 1974 and 1992- now back in Championship
Blackpool - Won FA Cup in 1953, just won play off despite having no fans
Portsmouth - won 1st div title 1949-50, reached 1st division in 1993 and Prem in 2003 , then went on downward spiral but went up as Champions of league 2 in 2017.

Hartlepool United - never won or achieved fook all, so collapse not possible , never likely to win owt ...

If I had said 12 I would of got slaughtered. There were some highlights , certainly during first 4 or 5 years, for me the best bit was start of 2007/8 season and some of the ground out away performances under Wadsworth in the first half of the 2010/11 season and agood start to the following season 11/12,other than that its been limited to a flurry of decent results in March every year and that's been about it.
