Chip is correct Pam Duxbury is the only one keeping the club alive. I can't imagine why she got involved as her knowledge seems to be financial rather than football. However that is what is needed, though players seem to be sold on the cheap to urgently balance the books.

Knowing the wages some of these players are on it will be hard to offload the ones we really want rid of. But obviously a retained squad of 20+ is going to require a lot more trimming to allow bringing in new players other than a few loans. Coxall made the mistake of too big a squad, on too high wages and all having their contracts extended. Coxall's mistake was lack of financial management and no understanding of income, I doubt he has fleeced the club as many on hear say.

The problem is once the club is put on a level platform there will be cuts in the aquad and the level of players we can afford. It could take a long while to return to the League.

JPNG are registered as 99% shareholders of the club, as far as I can work out. I have seen no documentation to any other effect.

Coxall is a 50% partner in JPNG.
Goldberg is 50% partner in JPNG.

As long as JPNG owns HUFC there is no chance of stopping the pilfering.

So much depends on what happens behind the scenes that in some ways the retained list is immaterial at the moment. Do we have a good enough squad with the players in it to be competitive in NL? Possibly not - or at least not as a top 10 side. But until we have some stability in ownership (ie Coxall gone so that we can be sure where season ticket money etc is going) we can't even reasonably think about signing players, and as things stand I'd be surprised if any offer will be refused for those still under contract. Any manager coming in will face uncertainty in terms of budget, expectations etc.

If we can get the boardroom stuff sorted out, and a half decent playing budget, I'd hope that we can bring in 4/5 good quality players - with some experience, preferably leaders on the pitch, who would be automatic choices (ie better than we have now). Bulk that out with a couple of decent loan players, and we might be OK. But until whoever comes in knows what his budget and brief is, we're all whistling in the dark.....

JPNG are not fit for purpose to run the club.

I can understand charco's point, until stated facts are from a reliable source don't take them as FACT.

As you say Chip, next week will hopefully reveal what we all want to know. It would be lovely if nothing was as bad as feared and I'd happy own up to being wrong if it were. Doubt it though!

As stated last week, money has been moved about and things have changed, or are in the process of changing . The OS states :

http://www.hartlepoolunited.co.uk/club/ ... directory/

Hartlepool United Limited is owned by JPNG Ltd - comprising of 12.5% Pam Duxbury, 12.5% Sage Investments Ltd, 25% Cascade Pictures, 50% Gary Coxall.

As has been said several times, best way to find out what is happening is to join the Trust and turn up for the Members Open Meeting next week. Plenty of potential surprise attendees, alternatively for those members who cant make it, watch the live streaming of the event.

As Razz Prince from Phoneshop might say " Expect the unexpected "

Cascade Pictures are another one man business based in Essex (coincidentally!).

They appear to have borrowed money off Sage Investments and used it to buy 25% of JPNG.

Mark Fisher is 100% shareholder/owner of Cascade Pictures.

Doesn't smell good to me ...

I also am pretty certain that the club are legally obliged to confirm ownership on their website, while shareholding at Companies House tend to be a couple of weeks at least behind.

You'll know more than I but would it not be enough to just say they were owned by JPNG on the website?

Bonkers how Sage investments agreed to purchase a stake of a recruitment company to get involved in a football club and/or a property development deal. That's part of the reason I still don't trust a single person with a significant stake in Pools. The whole situation is as clear as mud and even cold hard facts next week won't answer all the questions unfortunately.

What the hell justifiable interest can Mark Fisher of Flat 1, The Hollies St. Marys Lane RM14 2QJ Upminster have in Pools.

It seems that Mr Fisher (of Essex) raised the money in April 2017 to buy 25% shares in Hartlepool using his part (future) ownership in the club as collateral.

This is similar to the deal pulled off by the Glaziers when they bought Manchester United a few years ago. The only difference is that MU was clearly a profitable enterprise and that the Glaziers would be able to pay back the loan over a couple of years based on the turnover and profits.

Is it a coincidence that this came about just as every man and his dog wants Coxall out?

What's in it for Mark Fisher, who will not be able to pay back the loan without pilfering money from Pools turnover? I guess I answered my own question.

What's in it for Sage, who have only the option of taking on more shares and owning Pools? Someone in Sage is clearly profiting from all of this.

Where the fcuk are the journos?

So if Sage took equity in lieu of credit... how much did Gary actually borrow? £1.5m? £1.7m?!

Sage Investments must be quite a dumb company lending money to Coxall on a stupid idea of property development on the millhouse side of the ground etc. Anyone with any common sense can see it was not a viable proposition.
And look at the mess they have got themselves into!!!!
They only have themselves to blame and I don't see why us fans should help them out.
All this transfer of shares, new companies, people taking on a share of JPNG, HUFC etc, is one big mess.
Sage Investments should put this episode down to experience and move on.
Coxall and Pam should walk away, HUFC does not owe them anything. Just walk away, wipe of the debt you organised amongst yourselves, leave the club debt free and hand it over to the fans.
And if Sage Investments have millions of pounds as chip says, then they can wipe the loan off and move on.

I don't trust any of them, have always said this and always will.

Pam, Coxall, Fisher and anyone else associated with this whole mess HUFC finds itself in, please do the honourable thing and PISS OFF!

I hope we all don't get caught up in pam is only trying to do right please donate. Or be part of the great revival. It looks like the travellers tricks with TVs 20 years ago to good to be true and it was. But on a positive note due to no game on this Saturday the club is putting a wallet inspection on at each turnstile I believe and there assisting with any fack currency. So bring your Albanian rumble down as well as 20s and 5s for checking.

That's a bit naive. It would be nice but I'm afraid the business world is a bit more cut throat

Sage didn't build up their company by writing off loans.

I don't know who to believe anymore, it's just one big steaming mess. A fucking piss poor soap opera.
The Hartlepool United I knew seems to have died, been buried quietly in the night and been taken over by aliens.
In true submarine form, I'm gonna dive deep and lay on the bottom and surface when it's all over. No one is getting a penny out of me, that's a certainty!
FFS, even the football has now become an irrelevance.

That's exactly how I feel. Even the novelty of visiting a few different grounds next season has soon worn off :(

This sadly.

Pam/Sage would gain a little trust/respect if they told us why they came here.

If they simply fell for whatever shit Coxall was shovelling about developing the area etc then fair enough. Id respect them for saying so.

I am with Snowy here. Common sense tells you not to believe are word any of them come out with.

Not sure Sage saying they were mugged by Coxall would do their business credibility much good.

A business like them should have done their own due dilligence on Coxall before lending him/pools and if they fell for his charm/lies then they arent the business some are claiming.

All very very sad.

I agree it wouldnt do their business credibility much good at all, but would be refreshing to see some honesty if that was indeed the case.

The longer we have random people/businesses attached to the club with no idea why they are even here then the mistrust will always continue.

"Sage didn't build up their company by writing off loans. "

And they certainly did not build their company giving loans to the likes of Coxall and co!

If I had given Coxall some money in Jan without doing my research, what would you all be saying to me now when I wanted my money back?

Sage are either very dumb or have an ulterior motive(s) for giving a dodgy bloke Coxall a loan!

You owe a company some money, next thing the are running the show, control the football club you own, have shares all over the place in tin-pot companies you have opened etc
It does not look right, it does not feel right and the fans who love the club have all been conned!

Can't argue with that.

I trusted coxall when he took over. Believed his bullshit. So I am finding it hard to trust Pam

At the moment the only people in charge id trust would be the fans

Ps my opinion only. This isn't proof of a trust planned takeover.

The only people who could be totally trusted as having best interests of a club at heart are the fans, followed by a local fan or business private investor with stakes in the community. Many examples prove anyone else should be treated with caution or suspicion

When IOR came I was suspicious, why? It was ok till the money dried up and it was a slow decline till the Loan Arranger and Tonto rode up on his white steed to save us and there was a brief outbreak of IOR style mania again. But we were comparing chalk and cheese.
