Not that it's any of our concern next season but nice to see that 66% of clubs voted to keep the current format for the Sherpa Van Trophy next season.

Who the absolute fuck did they ask?!

They have glossed over/ignored the fact that pretty much every round saw record low attendances because the Final saw a record high. Wankers.

Those at the Final really need to hang their heads in shame for giving the organisers something to cling to. So very, very shortsighted.

Piss poor.

Give it a few years and we may view relegation into non league as a blessing in disguise as it will be the only remaining bastion of proper football

The Premier League clubs putting an extra million into the prize fund on top of the million they put in this season clearly had nothing to do with the decision!

This sort of shit genuinely worries me.

There is an absolutely superb article called 'A Level Playing Field' in issue 21 of the fanzine called Stand which I pretty much completely agree with. It's well worth a look for anyone interested.

I think we are living in an episode of The Twilight Zone these days. So much stuff going on that seems like madness. I was certain EFL clubs were going to kick out this format almost unanimously (then again what would I know as a Remainer, anti Trump ...you get my point)

Indeed :(

Very odd and very bad things seem to be the norm at the moment.

It's stunning how life appears to be getting worse yet we're all allowing it to happen.

Enjoy football while you still can, I reckon in 15 years it will totally be ruined , with teams allowed 10 subs, no replays, top 12 in play offs, 108 teams in the World Cup etc etc
