For some reason the last two weeks my
PS4 connection has been shit whenever our lass goes on Netflix. PS4 is not a wired connection by the way.

Mate mentioned getting a signal booster? (Netgear etc) are they any good or a load of shit?

It's not close enough no. So basically I plug that thing into a wall and then Ethernet cable from it to my PS4? How will that make the signal better? Simply by making it wired not wifi?

Yeah exactly that. Uses your power line as a cable expansion so you need one at the router and one at the PS4. Will be much better.

So the one at the router, guessing that goes into the wall and I run an ethernet cable between it and teh router? Does that mean I cant have anything on a wired connection at that point? sctatchinghead

Make sure the plug near the router is on the same electrical circuit as where you want the second one to go. They don't always work on different circuits.

Your router has 4 ethernet ports in the back of it.
