Bought the Mail tonight and in one of the Pools features it suddenly turned to supporters 'nailing their colours to the mast' by buying a season ticket and followed with details. Might I suggest there are, in the present situation, several things I'd like to nail to the mast, repeatedly, and it's got nowt to do with season tickets.

How relevant is the Mail these days? Do many people still buy or read it online?

Used to be a gospel read from cover to cover by everyone in the town when I was a youth, but I don't think that is the case these days.

Like all papers it's been overtaken by social media and online news. I guess it still serves a purpose for the older generation.

A newspaper can still be a good thing, but as we've found out in this instance, they've been woefully lacking. Even after all that's gone on, they're still acting as if nothing's happened and it's business as usual in a newer division. They even should a full map of England with the relative locations of our new opponents and the distances we'd now have to travel, where the f**k do they think Plymouth and Exeter's at, just past Darlo?
Belatedly there's those who've emerged blinking from the dust and rubble of the wreckage of the season trying to re-invent themselves, too late, you were part of the problem. Guard dogs?..... More like lap dogs, yappy but no bite.
