Two years at Doncaster, Wolves before that, previously in Denmark, 6'0# and 28 years old.

He was the kid in goal for the penalty shoot out against Man City in the League Cup when Doncaster knocked them out

But he only played 24 games in 2 years at Donny and 2 at Wolves so he wasn't their first choice keeper was he?

Oh dear it definitely sounds like bye bye Jimbo doesn't it.
Now watch Jim get signed by another League 1 club and save 10 penalties against us in the playoff final.

I like big Budtz and I can not lie
You other brothers can't deny
That when Dane walks in with an itty bitty waist
And a round thing in your face
You get sprung

I'm sure a club insider will give you some "reliable" information...

How many league games had Dimi played before we signed him just out of curiosity?

He'd never played in this country before he joined us. We signed him from Sporting Farense but I don't have any info to hand about his appearances in Portugal.

Wouldnt be to bad would mean one of the keepers' we signed had saved possibly 9 (at the least) as Provett had faced 10 and saved them so on that quote from Richard Head we have 2 very good 'Keepers

What some people may be forgetting is that Dimi didn't just walk into the 1st team - he was here quite a while playing in the reserves & no doubt building his fitness / growing his hair before he made a 1st team appearance replacing little Jim.

The Donny fan who posted about him on Rivals said something along the lines of, for every good game he has he also has a mare and goes walkabout. He is a great shot stopper and good at saving penalties but does not command his area too well.
It sound like another Dimi to me and he must of done ok at Wolves because they kept him on for an extra 3 weeks before he got recalled back to Donny.

I tell you what, he looks a scary bastad ((c)ADG) to me. He's all the size of Dimi and it looks like the last time he smiled was when he was gutting kittens and eating their spleens.

I did see that Doncaster v Man City game, living in Worksop at the time it was local news, and he came on when Andy Warrington got injured which was the last few minutes of added on time. He was as cool as a cucumber. I can't take on board what the Donny fans say completely, how many at Hartlepool wanted Dimi dropped last season?? I still wonder whether it influenced his decision to go.

I'm not really bothered if he couldn't get into Donny's first team. It doesn't mean anything except they are happy with their first choice.
Look at Pools - we have a quality keeper who hasn't had a look in for nearly three seasons!

I wondered who'd be the first to pick up on that

After reading rave reviews from Wolves fans were desperate to sign him, I've suddenly got a bit of confidence in him. :sweeeet:

Have every faith in the Lord Wilson

Not to confuse him with Harold Wilson.
