Anything in place with the Trust for discussions, or do we have the numbers to reasonably go for it?

Could Jeff put together a consortium?

I won't be back until the current mob are gone, need a decent manager appointing and complete revamp.

If everyone that bought a season ticket this season instead donated however much they paid to the HUST then we would have enough, but it won't happen.

£200 x 3000 season ticket holders = £600K.

Not that I'm suggesting we give that utter Twat any money, we definitely shouldn't.

That 600k would barely get us through a season. Not a single penny more should be handed over to the crooks.

That 600k wouldn't exist in a vacuum though. It would give us control of the club and allow us to seek our own investment. Also I did say that I wouldn't give them any money :P

This is what worries me most. If we had a stable board who knew what it takes to have a real go next season, and a little bit of money available to strengthen then we could look forward with som optimism. As it stands we have CEO with no football experience who has been pushed into taking over to protect an investment she wants back. We have no manager to deal with the retained list. It doesn't bode well.

I said to mates yesterday the fans should set up a '100 Club', that's 100 fans all putting 10k into a pot and raising 1m, we could then tempt this current mob with a sensibly low offer to take one and use the surplus to get going, and before anyone says it 10k isn't much to some 'comfortable' people for 'their' club.

The problem is that it isnt £600k though. Kids tickets and consessions. It isnt even close. Our season tickets ate too cheap. Been saying it for a good few seasons now. A few years back you only saved about 2 games for buying one. We need to charge more for them. I would happily pay more if it meant I could watch better football.

Or you will more likely lose some season ticket holders. Could end up with more money but less season ticket holders. You may think it's a great idea, but what's the point? At a time like this you're just alienating a section of supporters.

Tranmere increased certain season ticket prices when they got relegated out of football league and our prices are too low. If you sell less season tickets but have the same revenue then that is a good thing. You have the same amount of money to spend but you will have more pay on the day.

Too many of us have got used to cheap season tickets.

You just assume the season ticket holders who don't buy one will automatically turn up on the day and pay even more. Seriously?
There's times through this dreadful season we've turned up only because we had a season ticket, because if I had to pay on the day I wouldn't have bothered.
I'm not even buying one till I see what the situation is, so suggesting we pay more is laughable. Although there'll be those bursting to splash the cash as usual.

the stupidity of those suggesting or worse, badgering people, to get a ticket now is beyond my comprehension.

They clearly cant think properly or have an alterior motive.

This could well be an upcoming season where the majority of fans do pay on the gate therefore increase the prices of season tickets as their will always be the fans who want to buy one. (Still got to make it financially beneficial to buy one for them).

I genuinely think that if we have even just an average start, we will see the pay on the gate significantly increase. If you would have chosen not to pay on the gate had you not had a season ticket then that is your choice. However, I will always support pools and want the best for the club. If that means I have to pay a bit more and can be happy the money will help the team then so be it.

If anyone turns up who is not a fan or connected to HUFC and wants to buy the club they need chasing.

The national league, It's still technically a lesser product than league 2 so it's bonkers to charge more. You wouldn't expect to pay more for a 3 star hotel than a 4 star.

Need to look at local Facebook too put it across the local media . A lot of people are still spewing out "the bunker trust" craic .. the more publicity we give this the greater gains for the trust.

Mr I, this all looks like a very good start. I'm sure that there are a number of people on here with ideas that are worth exploring, both locally based and exiles (like myself). What we don't want to do is to raise issues and strategies in a public forum that will be viewed by the club and Coxall. Is there a vehicle for this?

They would want sectioning really. Which tells you that anyone not with a mental health condition who wanted to buy the club is probably up to no good.

This has to be a wind up, are you seriously telling me you are going to buy a season ticket despite what's went on? Then then say you want the best for the club. I can't begin to comprehend your reasoning.

I would happily pay more to give us a better chance but if Gary Coxall or Pam thinks I am prepared to hand anything over at present then they are mistaken. Giving thay twat feck all

Ah right, I think that's the main point here and most are in full concurrence

For a start whatever the prices Pools can scrap the joke of going to a kiosk to buy a ticket and then getting it barcode scanned to get in. I know some on here think that was innovative but it has always always been a stupid idea - showed how Coxall simply did not know what he was doing and understand lower league football.

Season tickets should be no more than £200. People aren't made of money, the days are gone where people can make every game, it has to be worthwhile and value.

Pools will have to make some cut backs in other areas - we should easily be 4th and possibly 3rd in this list if the prices are reasonable..... http://european-football-statistics.co. ... eengnl.htm

There are a few that appear to have got themselves so deep in their almost religious belief in Billy Bullshitter and Pam, that they can longer reason that getting a season ticket now, and I mean now, is just the wrong thing to do.

Of course, if the bunker had suggested the opposite, I am sure these few would have advocated a blanket boycott.

It appears being wrong, for so long, has meant that they now cant see the light. They have dug a hole, a huge one, and appear to have dug so deep they cannot get out.
