I recently got a machine, and I remember Tassimo have been mentioned a while back on here. Anyone recommend any decent strong tasting coffees?

I've got one in the office, I like the Kenco 100% Colombian but for a stronger one the Costa Americano is a good shout.

Yep. Take it back and get a Nespresso machine. They have shops wall to wall of coffee, ranging from dish water to tar. I get the purple one, Appreggio. It's strong but not too strong. I'm a very seasoned coffee drinker being in the motor trade.

Think you can only get it online, but the Carte Noire Petit Dejeuner was a favourite - they seem to have a different version of it now called "Intense", haven't tried it yet though.... Costa Americano is all right too....

It's a fucking a cup of coffee, the billions of pounds made off the back of people making stuff up about it then people buying it and talking shite about makes it the new wine but this one has cunty little machine to go with it. I have even read people talking about 'notes' in the flavour and them making awful variations with all sorts of shite in. IT'S FUCKING COFFEE!!!!!!!

A bloke from Bishop Auckland starting a thread called 'Tassimo' about a fucking coffee machine then blokes from Hartlepool telling him he's got the wrong one and then following recommendations not involving a kettle? Stop the World I'm getting off.

It was a satirical post in the main aimed at a pretentious reply like that

Sometimes I do yes, I don't drink a massive amount of coffee to justify being bothered about it's 'notes' Douwe Egberts instant Coffee tastes like Coffee to me. We had one of those machines and it stopped working. I wouldn't have Nescafe though that is for scruffs.

I just bought a tassimo for the office. Think they are one of those things that we will use for a while then it will just stand there. Was a special offer anyway and came with loads of different drinks

Got a tassimo at work. Quite partial to a latte macchiato from it.

However it's been there for a year and the boss has only just clicked onto how much the pods are compared to the Macro tub of gold blend we used to get so it's on it's way once stock has gone.
